Red face I'm looking for good jpop song that i can sing on stage maybe!!! ^^-

yupp....ima be auditioning for a solo slot in our school's big concert comming up next month, 'Spring Sing'

aaand yea! I'm planning to do a Japanese song ! But i don't know what's good and catchy to make people find an interest in it (haha liek that's gonna work anyway but it's worth a try ;o)

So here's the criteria i would like for the song that one would suggest to me:
- non-ballad
- it's gotta have an instrumental
- and it's instrumental can't have any backups on it

^^- thank you!

hmm..hehee the only song i have in my mind is Aya Mastuura's 'Ki ga Tsukeba Anata'

I think Morning Musume's "Dekkai uchuu ni ai ga aru" is a good mid-tempo song even if it's damn repetitive. The instrumental has little back-up, and most of it is just random screaming by the girls. There's also "AS FOR ONE DAY" but it has a few annoying "yeahs" by Tsunku in the background...

That's an awesome suggestion!

I'm kind of thinking of Morning Musume's Haru no Uta (Song of Spring ) of their 6th album , but I don't know how to make instrumentals, and there's back-up vocals, but I think it's pretty easy to learn with them. I think...

WAIT!

That's a ballad.

Umm.... Mini Moni's CRAZY ABOUT YOU . I'm not sure if it has back-ups though. I'll let you know if I think of anything else. Well... Tanpopo's Last Kiss is kinda ballad-ish.

Ken Hirai -Pop Star XD j/k (Although if you did, I'd think it was awesome XD)

Lesse...

Hitomi Shimatani- Mermaid or Angelus Or Camellia
Namie Amuro- The Speed Star

All of which (including Pop Star XD) I have instrumentals for. So Just a couple of suggestions (I feel they are all kinda diffrent types so that's why I suggested them ^^)

that's something you cannot ask people....

you should sing songs that would fit with your voice....not higher, not lower....

Well, if you get enough suggestions you can pick and choose. But you have a point. (I was actually trying to pick a few I knew had diffrent ranges myself) but vocal range is important. But there is also the opition of singing the pitch higher or lower. But that depends on the song, and your personal range. ^^
