I was looking at Ayu's wikipedia page and the list of awards and under 2006 it has Best Looking Female Solo Artist Japan & China listed... Interesting and VERY TRUE! Take that Kumi - you and your Quadruple A-side single and your flashy chest - I love you though, lol...

Out of all jpop and cpop singers ayu is DEFINITELY not the best...

my guess is she only won cos she is supposdly most popular

I think there are some Japanese and Chinese artists that are more beautiful than Ayu, but I find Ayu the "best-looking". Ayu has the best sense of clothes and styles. Plus, the changed her image/style SO many times, it's amazing.
Koda may have the boobs, but she ain't got that style

Don't even get me started, lol... I am the one who started the "Is Ayumi The Most Beautiful Woman In The World?" thread and I say of course! I look at her and my jaw just drops at how amazingly beautiful she is. Beautiful isn't even a strong enough word, she needs a word all her own... BA-YU-TIFUL

lol agreed. It's more like popularity contest. I can name plenty of female artists(from both Japan and China) whom I consider more beautiful than Ayu.

I think ayu has a really undescribable beauty

she's just EVERYTHING

To be honest...I also love how kumi looks,but when It goes to ayu, when I saw her LIVEs,PVs,etc... I'll always smile alone,happily,tell myself with pleasure how gorgeous ayu was,etc...,even there's no really better words to say that she is beautiful...hahahahhaha

For me...ayu has something on her look...speechless
