Rerecording songs (NEW VERSIONS FOR THE NEW ALBUM!)

So we all think that some of the songs on 2006's singles have been so-so. Everyone have different preferences, but ...

which songs woud you like to be rearranged for the new album?

And what would you change?



I would definetly like to see a more downbeat and mellow version of BLUE BIRD, perhaps as an addition to the upbeat version, or as an interlude. Or something like what was done at the KINKI show.

Beautiful fighters I would like to be given more of an edge, just slightly. I woulden't change it too much, but given it a bit more touch of rock or electro like the songs on I am...

As for the rest, I don't know what should be done to save them. the ones I mentioned above are actually my preferred songs for this release so far..

I also would want some fuller arangement for JEWEL. 1LOVE should be fine as it is.

I want a nice full but still balance arrangement for JEWEL. Not... too full. Something like forgiveness maybe.

I'd.... I dunno what I want to see done with Startin'. Just make it better.

I'll reserve judgement on 1LOVE until we get the full studio mix.

I'd also like the last track to be a ballad. And get another extra PV-less track in the vein of either ANGEL'S SONG or Moments (talk about extremes).

I also want the tracks to be arranged thoughtfully.

I'd change the 7 songs to 8 or 9. Give us more room for a bit of something new. More ballads - happy ballads.

More real instuments. Rerecord the songs with real instruments. I don't know if it would sound any good, but it would be a nice change from the usual.

Speaking of amount of tracks: Add one (secret) track - means: 8 songs. One of the new songs being a ballad, the other a rocksong. (To balance out the amount of rather upbeat songs.)

That would be very nice. The mini seems like it will be quite an upbeat/ballady album, I'd like it if the final track had a Ladies Night ~another night~ sound.

A completely revamped Beautiful Fighters. I like the song, and I can listen to it, but I have a feeling it has so much more to give.

A reworked version of BLUE BIRD would be nice too, just like the new version of alterna that came on (m)u.

Startin' is the song with which I'm the most satisfied with, the arrangements are so full and I love it to bits. It's awesome when seen live, I can tell you, hehe. It is easily one of the songs I enjoy hearing sung live the most.

There are couple songs in A BEST that have rearranged and new vocals. A SONG FOR XX, Trust, Depends on You, End Roll , and Boys and Girls (rearranged only). And a lot of songs in A BALLADS did the same thing. If we can vote and choice the song(s), that you want to rearranged or rearranged with new vocals, which song(s) should be?

Here is my choices:
evolution : I know many people think this song is overrated. But the live version is more enthusuastic plus the drum! I like it a lot.

ourselves : The live version with la..la...la... at the end of the song is better than the CD version only with music.

No way to say: It is not nesscary to rearranged with new vocals. The CD version is good, but it can be improved. Ayu sings this song with lalala at the end. Same as ourselves, it fits the song.


PS: The song(s) is not nesscary to be your favourite. Just pick up one that you think can be better. ^_^

I agree on that... we're missing a depressing rock song! I either hope for 1LOVE to be it, or the yet to be announced track.

Judging from the preview 1LOVE sounds more upbeat than a depressing rock song. Hope thats what ayu put on the album tho, maybe something A Song for XX (A BALLADS version) type thing

I would say A Song for XX, but there's a rock version which completely shuts me up. It's so much more agressive than the original

Just imagine the song evolution with an arrangement/vocals like the current live version.

HANABI, with the la-las she adds to the back of lives.
No way to say, for the same reason.
Memorial address, a calmer, more composed, acoustic version? But may be too painful for her so I'm not really expecting it.
For My Dear..., I always thought it was badly done.
As if.., lovely song, I so wish she'll re-sing it.
