Smile Does Ayu have any part in your life?

Making this topic, you should already know my answer is yes. And so on, she does act as a big part of my life.

Form te fist moment I watched Pokemon, the amnime striked though my chilish mind and attracted me to the world of Japan. Still, it took me years until I first experienced myself with inner Japan art industry. That was my 6th or 7th year in midschool. I was granted to access to the internet. All I did by then was just finding game site and animes site. Then I was accidentally drawn to Hikki. Yep that song was Wait&see. I just loved it so much that I kept searching them in ages, actually I didn't know how then so I just followed the site I was told before. The next song was first love.Aww at that time, Hikki swallowed my soul completely and so rapidly that wat I could do by then is looking for her.

I fnally had my own mp3. The only thing it stored was Hikki's songs. I kept listen to it over and over in the normal state. Ayu finally came up in such a situation to me, when Hikki was still the owner of my heart. With her My Story image in my eyes, she was so glamorous and..... plastic (sorry). discussing about her with my friends made the distance between me and Ayu even further. "Yeh, plastic girl","She's sucks". (I can't believe what I said then). I force myself to listen to her once to confirm that no one can beat Hikki (just in my own battlefield). Hikki won!Yay! Carols lost dramatically.

Then, one day then 48 hours passed. "Let's try her again anyway".This time, something grew, slowly but strongly. I started to wander around her fan site and forum. What I can found was some "I love you Ayu","You are the best Ayu"...etc... "Nah, sounds silly" ,I thought. But on her birthday, I came up and said Happy birthday and keep up your good work. From the moment, I have finally discoverd the one. The normal state from when I listened to Hikki was replaced by the state of calm and passions, desires, happiness, sadness. It was soo colorfull ,It also was the fist time I realised how disgusting my voice is, because I finally sang on my own, all alone. Even if it's disgusting, I couldn't stop singing along with Ayu. And I became totally crazy. I memorized the whole Carols song, then about you and so on, so on. I love you Ayu.

I stopped feeling stressed and stopped thinking about suiciding. I began to focus more on my studyingand Ayu. She brought be up and encouraged me so much. She didn't just inspire the love of music but the power of life that I couldn't find anywhere else in te world of me all alone.

I will be hurt if Ayu is hurt and sing alone if she sings. Ignored all of the complainings from my friends, I keep on listening to her. I wish they were the same as me to feel the same power, the same passion I felt.I don't know what to say but Ayu did make a miracle.

Year in and year out, I watched her live performance, I now know why she is the queen, when she sings live, even more power are presented. I can't count how many times Ayu has surprised me when the new singles were released and when I saw her live.

As you can see, from the colorful voice Ayu has brought so many feelings to me and changed my life. I can't imagine a world without her. Or at least I have listened to her, I have no regret. So, Ayu acted as a pretty high position in my heart. Beside my mother, she takes the place of goddess just same as my friends and family. How about you? I'm really like talking about musical feelings and talking about Ayu with someones have the same feeling.

If you are anti-Ayu, I beg you to leave.

Ayu's not a huge factor in my life... I just listen to her and love her music, but I don't go overboard. I have a pretty big life and Ayu's not really a big part of it either.

Heart's Key

You are the key that unlocks my heart's cell,
The only one who understands me well.
My oasis in this desert of sandstorm,
You define beauty in its perfect form.

Love at first sight is more than just fate,
True love is what decides you are my soulmate.
My sincerity and devotion will move the gears of love,
A lifetime is how much your love to me is worth.

I've been listening to Ayu for about 5 years and I'm so glad that I started to listen to her music - I am a massive fan not a day goes by when I don't hear her songs

Ayu is my hobby. To be honest, if researching ayumi could be my job, that's what I would do for a living. I don't really do anything else but listen to ayu, try to collect as much info on her as I can. I really honestly can say that I WISH it was my job. I'd make millions a year. XD I say the research & saving pictures and stuff is for my site, but it's really for me... my site (which WILL be done one day) is more of a "well I may as well do a site since I have all this stuff" sorta thing.

ALL of my spare time (not spent working/looking for work, playing with Judee, cleaning, or what have you) is spent either here, ayunite, AHN, Tokyo-Nights, Yahoo! Auctions Japan, or MSN auctions, or organizing my ayu files. Seriously, it's ALL i do, it's pathetic.

Ayu didn't save my life in any way but at the same time she's become a security blanket, almost an addiction. I just feel better when I'm doing something ayu related. I don't LOVE it, I don't get that excited over it anymore, but it's like... I NEED it. It's weird.

... Ayu's not a part of my life... I love her but she's not in my life. Contrary to her songs ! her songs are a part of my life like other songs... and that's why I can answer using a YES : music is my life so her music is a part of who I am... not her because I love other artists as much as her

I would guess that Ayu does have a part in my life...I mean, I'm always here at ahs...I love her, and all of her music, and I will support her to the end.

I guess she is as much apart of my life as a friend who I can't talk to? lol

Ayumi does play a big part in my life because music plays a big part of my life and since Ayumi is a huge part of the way I view music... well, you can do the math.

Also, when I spend time with my grandmother, we watch videos, listen to her songs (even sing along) almost daily. She always says how Ayumi changed her world too. My grandmother, as a pretty emotional person, has also cried quite a few times because of lyrics (A Song For XX), just because of the song (Born To Be...) and because of the emotion and power in her performances (SURREAL at A MUSEUM, SURREAL at Dome Tour 2001).

I even wrote an essay on music with the main subject on how Ayumi changed my musical understandings and I got a perfect 10 for it.

D'aw for the people who don't have some ayu in their lives :c.

People like hikki, boa, namie, and koda (at one point *shivers*) almost had the upperhand some years, but ayu has always reigned supreme in my heart since '02. She's the most sincere and interesting of all mainstream artists, because her lyrics and how she presents herself towards her fans. No long hiatuses, no flimsy lyrics, no strutting it all out and boobage, that's what keeps ayu alive with me. There's never a day that I don't listen to ayu...which I haven't realized till now D:.
