It's probably makeup or something. Sometimes famous peeps cover up tattoos because they don't want the public to see it.

Like when Angelina Jolie had that tattoo of Billy Bob Thorton's name on her arm. In movies, she'd have makeup put over it so that it wasn't conflicting with the film.

Angelina Jolie doesn't hide her tattoos in public, just in hollywood movies, cause Lara Croft doesn't have tattoos in the game. I haven't heard of artists making tatttoos on places that aren't hidden and having to airbrush them at every public appearance though. Ayu so had to be the 1st one!!!!

but there was a cap in 1 LOVE pv where you could clearly see the tatoo...i dun think she would just randomely choose to cover a tatoo for a live while just letting everyone see it in the pv...

I doubt they airbrused the video, that takes to much time and effort compared to using concealer, where as all you have to do is brush the stuff over the tattoo, and it's easy to get it to match you skin colour. Trust me, I used it to cover up a scar on my face and it's so easy and cheap, only $12 for a container. Well a very small container.

I read Angelina uses it too.

Oh I'm not talking about airbrsushing the video (that would have been completely nonsense), but airbrushing the skin, or yeah, using a concealer.

Putting layers of a concealer in a scar that is almost the color of the skin isn't as hard to hide as trying to conceal something dark in a white skin background with make up in my opinion. I have never used those though so I guess I can't give an opinion. Some people have said airbrushing the skin is fast and has results though.

I still don't know what to think LOL

Because Tattoos are not well received in Japan. They are associated with the Yakuza. Frankly I think it would be fine if she showed it, but Avex might be afraid of it hurting her image too much. Namie is the only pop star I know of that shows her and I think a lot of people in Japan viewed Namie's tattoos as having hurt her image.

That's a good point and could have had a little something to do with it. I don't think it would have had an effect on the younger crowd buying the album, but anyone 30+ it may have. Of course no one would think that Ayu is actually a Yakuza member(lol), but a lot of people view those that have tattoos as troublesome people and certainly not a role model; it's ridiculous I think. It's kinda like how when Ayumi was a kid, she was thought of as a problem child because she often died her hair.
