RUMOR: Ayu in Nude Photobook RUMOR

According to Lilin's translation of the articles above, this news comes from the latest issue of "Flash" magazine (from Japan). It states that Ayumi Hamasaki is going to release a nude photoshoot she did for a new photobook which will be released in late Fall. Critis of Hamasaki think that she would do this as a last resort to boost her popularity which they believe is declining in Japan. The photoshoot has already been completed and rumors are also circulating that Ayu would also release a fashion photobook by the end of June.

Those of you who know Chinese can check out those articles above. I really don't know how credible the articles are. It's Yahoo news, but most people at Ayunite did not believe it. The Chinese press usually loves to attack Ayu and make her look bad (even if they have to exaggerate). So I honestly don't fully believe this story. It's probable that she did a photoshoot that was a little revealing (she's release MANY revelaing photos, haha. i.e. LOVEppears, haha). So they probably found out about a revealing photoshoot and then exagerrated it to being all nude. Who knows. Bottom line is that I don't trust this until they can give proof.

So I consider this to be false until it can be confirmed by a credible source.

oh man.. this is interesting, not cuz I wanna see ayu nude, if that's what you're thinking..lol

But we all know that Ayu's not some leggy supermodel, so although it may help her out for the moment for popularity, I don't think it'd make the impact like she'd hope it would, and would probably only hurt her image. No other artists (at least.. what I know of) haven't had to resort to this, but since this is only a rumor, only time will tell to see how things go with this...

i got to read this with info on new single in j-central it said avex said they sure ayumi will be artist of the year this upcoming year...
and that some chinese magazine said ayu will be doing nude photobook... this was on my head all day...i'm worry... i hope its not true...even thought she look hot...i dont wanna see her nude..its just wrong .. for me its really hard...even thought its still a rumor its hard for me to. think she would do .. i personality look up to her... and her music ^_^

i dont want her to become like american pop stars that go naked for them to be famous again..

But what she did for loveppears is sexy not like all naked and stuff and besides even if her popularity is declining thats just what happened to almost every jpop female artists. Japanese get tired of Jpop artist easily, usually last about 3-4 yrs........i think.

oh man 3-4 years??! I hope Ayu prooves that wrong, it dosent look like shes going anywhere anytime soon, shes still fulla energy and making it in the world, she'll always have me as a fan, and she wont need to pose nude for ir either, her songs speak for themselves. >_<

i dont think its right for the japanese fans to just get tired of someone after that short amount of time. i am still a big fan of many artists that have been out for a long time.
i really dont think that her popularity is declining and i think that the rumor is an exaggeration of a small thing that doesnt mean anything.
Ayu will always be Ayu and i will always be a fan. she doesnt need to go that far to boost her popularity.
