[BEST of CDL -DVD-] NEVER EVER = HOT

Wow. I decided to wait to watch or look at screens from the CDL of this year since I knew it would be included with A BEST 2 and I wanted to be surprised when I got it. I read comments however, and many people said they were dissapointed and she had bad vocals. I put the DVD in the other night to watch "5 minutes" and ended up watching 40 minutes! It was amazing - since my expectations weren't too high after hearing people's opinions, I was amazed at how totally awesome each performance was! Now onto the reason I made this thread: NEVER EVER.

I have got to say one of the sexiest Ayu performances ever! I loved the "remix" they did and Ayu looked so sexy in her outfit! I watched that performance like 5 times already - I cannot get enough of it. Her vocals were amazing!

What did you guys think of it? Which performance was your favorite?

I personally couldn't stand the NEVER EVER outfits; they took a lot away from the performance, which otherwise had really good vocals and music. They made the performance seem really fake and, in my opinion, really crossed the line between sexy and skanky. There are enough female singers wearing provocative clothing and trying to be sexy. We don't need another one.

I haven't seen the entire CDL yet, but so far, ASFXX is probably my favorite. It's not as emotionally charged as other ASFXX performances, but the way they did the choreography was cool and the vocals were good. I really want to see Free & Easy, though.

^ I love Ayu's sexiness. She can do it classy and she wasn't really provacotive herself, just her dances.

I thought the vocals for Free & Easy were bad though...

The original NEVER EVER had them as "60's skanks." LOL

If you can't see, they're in afros and feather boas.. LOL

I loved almost everything..
They needed to put ANGEL'S SONG instead of Beautiful Fighters though.

^ I really liked the performance of Beautiful Fighters. I really loved that song when it came out, but I listened to it so much that I got sick of it. The performance injected some life into the song for me. I do like ANGEL'S SONG better tho!

Beautiful Fighters needed a new dance routine. The PV one didn't work for the concert imo.

I think it should've had less sitting.

never ever is my favorite performance as well!!! she looks sooooo HOT and the new mix is awesome! all the new mixes from the concert are so good! I love it!

Actually, I thought they were older mixes..

ASFXX and NEVER EVER's mixes were from the AT02 versions..

^ Neither have I. I became an Ayu fan about 4 or 5 years ago so I haven't seen all of her tours/concerts. Only tours/CDLs from MY STORY and up, lol.

^ Isn't Ayu just great? I love the part of the CDL when everyone does the wave and she responds by saying something cute and tilting her head. Very anime like, lol. What did she saying anyways? It sounded like Ne? I also couldn't really understand her message that she spoke in english...

Well, there were different groups that were assigned parts of a word when they did the wave in parts..

There was a "ya" group, a "tsuuu" group, and a "taaaa" group.

Then Ayu was to say "Ne?" when they were all done. Dunno what it means..

^ there probably is some1, when I first heard never ever was my least favorite song.. I probably hated it. but then I rediscover the song and I think is one of ayu.s best song ever!
