Doooh... Bloody hell!

Doooh... Bloody hell! Don't you hate it whenever you bought a new album and on the cover of the jewel case always got a sticker about about the album paste on it?

Some stickers are alright, they're really, really easy and small to take it off like Madonna's Confessions On A Dance Floor album.

Fark! What piss me off the most is that when the stickers are big, skanky and sticky pasted on the damn album! And when you try to take it off, it'll always tear half way through. Even if you peel it like a big princess! Then if you try to scatch it off with your fingers nail, after the sticker is gone, but it'll left some sticky thingy on it. And after sometime, it'll goes black! O-FARK! Meh... How annoying!

Anyone here know what's the best way of taking it off? Any idea, girls? Don't you dare tell me to use fire! Hehe...

well, is it RIGHT ON the cover? or is there like, a plastic thingy wrapped around it?
if it IS like, right on the cover, maybe use a bit of water? or peel a little flap of the sticker open, dun rip it off, and then like, get it all dirty-ish (start getting it all non-sticky, in other words). then, use that flap to get the rest of the sticker off? =D;; i seriously have no clue as to what to do

I think some cleaning liquid should do, you can try something with alcohol, like that nail cleaning-thingie... alcohol pretty much wipes everything out...

well.. for crystal bottles and plastics what I do is I mmh.. submerge the bottle on water and it has to stay there for some hours then the sticker comes off real easy.. but I dunno about jewel case you will have to remove all the paper then let it dry off for some time.

This happened when HMV gave me a CD I ordered.

The sticker was all over the top so I couldn't just leave it there, and then when I got it off, the front is all sticky = =;

I used to use rubbing alcohol to remove the sticky stuff o_o;

OMG my Shakira best of album has everything in the world stuck to it cuz of an annoying sticker...and peanut butter does help to remove sticky stuff...it works best with gum...if yu blow a bubble and it sticks to yur face, rub peanut butter on it and leave it for a while, then wash off...it gets it off

Sorry Hugo, but I am on the opposite side Whenever there is a small to medium sized sticker glued on the plastic wrapped around the cd, I cut it and paste it in the jewel case jajajaja, sometimes not, cause it would cover the artwork, but sometimes is fine.

What can you do? If it's right on the jewel case, add a little water on it until it is soaked in it and then you start to scratch on it and even though you would have that glue in your nails, the sticker will be gone... for the most part.

peanut butter? My guess would be that fat dissolves the stickers glue?... that kinda makes sense...

i dont take the stickers off. it is a part of the album and i dont want to seperate them!
