fated and kingyo hanabi
Do you agree that "fated" and Ai Otsuka's song "Kingyo Hanabi" both have a very strong feeling of depth? I always feel like water .. very depe water that im swimming and swimming and just cant reach the bottom when i listen to these songs. Just depth. And no, not lyrically wise, instumentally.

Yeah, I can definitely sense what you mean ^-^ I love both songs so much too xD But, I think that ever free "HAL'S MIX 2000" is even more like Kingyo Hanabi! They both has such a similar sad/atmosphere feeling to them D:

please don't compare one of the highlights from Otsuka Ai's career "Kingyo HANABI", to the mediocre crap that is "fated", by Hamasaki Ayumi. =P

I get what you mean about Kingyo Hanabi. I believe the word and feeling you're trying to use is arrested. Like you feel like your emotions are arrested, and hence you get this sense of "deepness".
I don't really sense it from fated though, but yup, both these songs make me sad, especially Kingyo Hanabi. |

I don't really listen to ai so I can't tell.
I can tell though that fated is really a deep power ballad and it's one of ayu's strong songs for me. I'm happy she did this song ^_^. |

I think there's a way of expressing your dislike for something, without just being rude about it.

Yeah too much people say crap these days, like there's no way that other million people can like it because this thing is "crap".
fated is FAR from being crap. It's opposite. |

The problem is not that you don't like fated, but the way you talk about it like it's crap = no way anyone can like this horibble song!
You understand what we mean? xD. |

I agree. fated is crap. But I do think that Kingyo Hanabi is...a little crappier than fated.
Nevertheless, the word "crap" may have different level of negativity, depending on where do you live and what kind of community you live in. But in my place, it's not as strong as what you guys may think. So I wouldn't take it as offensive as how you guys would. Anyway, I do feel the underwater atmosphere when I listen to both song. Something similar to Simple & Clean PLANITB remix.
