Secret again?

Ok, I just now noticed this... why did they release the song Secret on the glitter/fated single? Is it the exact same version that is one the Secret album?

Yes. The reason why it was included is because Secret was the theme to the Chinese (?) movie Confessions of Pain. However, the movie was not released in Japan until the summer, so it's believed that the theme was included on glitter/fated in order to help promote the movie in Japan. Most people were rather bummed that it wasn't an alternate version. (Like say an AOV version)

it's kinda sad it wasn't even re-arranged or anything. I feel that would have boosted sales more. or at least give the instrumental. .

Yeah, that's kind of weird why they put a same song from an album into a single...

Actually it was a smart attempt by Avex to try and tie the single with the Japanese release of Confessions of Pain. At first I thought it was a little stupid not the change the song a little but then I realized the original was what they used in the movie so it would be odd to release a different version.
