Should Ayu release a "Best of Remixes" album?

She's already done a "greatest ballads" collection and two career-spanning best-of sets, but one thing Ayu hasn't done is pick through all those remix albums she's released and put together a collection of what she thinks are her best mixes. I know she just finished her "A BEST 2" blitz, but I think this collection would have a potential to sell, since there are a lot of fans who don't buy singles or don't know which remix album to buy.

What do you think? Good for business or not?

I don't think so. Remix albums aren't good sellers.

No. Remixes aren't so popular any longer anyway. Don't give avex strange ideas.

I'd rather have a new album of great remixes than a new album of the greatest of her old remixes.

You might have a point --- we don't want it to get like Koda Kumi's endless compilation parade. (What was the point of "Bounce & Lovers" anyway?)

Neh that's a bit much O.o
I'd laugh xD
Besides, I think it would be a bit opinionated since her remixes weren't really hits.

I don't think it would happen, but I think it would be a great idea for collectors or, like you said, for people who can't choose which album or single to buy. Heck, I know it's not a lot, but I can already think of two remixes she would (or should, in my opinion) include.

i think it's a good idea for hardcore fans like me, you and many other members on this forum, but for the casual listener no, seeing as the chances of avex even promoting it are fairly low. although,

Ayu could have like ... "A REMIX" special site.

she could have a poll in which people could vote for their favorite remix, out of every damn ayu-mix ever. it would be a lot of choices, but the ones with the most votes would get put on the "A REMIX" CD.

It's probably the only way to determine which Remixes are "hits", or at least among fans.

With the release of so many remixed songs, it'll be hard to figure out which are fan favorites. Avex is not going to invest that much time and money on Ayu like that anymore. Besides, you can call those remix albums that ayu released, "Best" albums since the songs on there were remixes of different songs from different albums.

I hope that BLUE BIRD Hardegroundz-whatever-the-****-it-is dies.

Most of her recent remixes have contained the taste of fail, including this one.

Also, I can't help but wonder - who would buy it? I think I already know the answer, but it's a fun question to ask.

If she was to release a "best remix album" then I imagine it selling at the most 200k....but may that's too high.

I love that remix. Play that **** loud with loads of bass, and all I can say is AMAZING.

Don't knock it 'till you try it.
