Who is the girl who opened a-nation 2007?

So, I'm watching a-nation 2007 on Veoh right now, and the first act was this girl who dressed in white and did eurobeat-style music. She had two other girls in pink on stage with her. Who was this? Her voice wasn't spectacular, but her songs were very catchy. I especially liked the first one, which had a lot of vocoder and the chorus went something like "Set me free, I wanna feel free!"

She seemed to be performing as people were still getting to their seats, and she didn't have an elaborate stage setup --- I take it she was a newcomer at avex/not that popular yet?

If someone could tell me who she is, I'd appreciate it, since she looks worthy of further investigation.

She's actually kinda a big-ish star in Japan, or at least she used to be

Yeah, it is Ami. The first song she performed was "FREE FREE" and the second was "Delightful."

Ami = one of Ayu's top rivals back in the 90s, but now...not so much.

You should definitely check her out though. She's amazing. And her history is quite colorful as well.

Give her a shot! You wont regret it

FREE FREE is from her upcoming album.

Delightful was her first Avex single and thus far her best selling avex single, but it's from her AROUND THE WORLD album.

I just found that out after downloading AROUND THE WORLD (and the FREE FREE single).
