Maybe no new single this year?

Well.. this afternoon i was thinking that maybe we aren't going to get a new single this year...
maybe Mirrorcle World is the song of her 10th anniversary so she doesn't want to realease another song this year??

But personally I think ayu will release a new single containing GREEN + another song + ? after at08. I hope ayu will release a winter single at december cus it would be sooo great if she does that =]

I personally think there's a good chance of a new single this year, but not till late October or sometime in November imo.

There will be a new single in december, relatively confirmed by the official Ayu website.

I'm assuming the B-side will be GREEN, as songs used on commercials before the announcement are usually B-sides. GREEN could be like alterna -- a winter B-Side of melancholic rock (though I don't find it sounding like melancholic rock myself, as Ayu described it).

I know there's going to be a new Ayu single this year.I have no doubt.

If 'kakkoi' really refers to a different song and it's not just used to express her positive feelings about GREEN, it's most likely the upbeat A-side single, as she usually doesn't post any messages about her album tracks. (At least none that I have read.)

As for the bolded part, she has reserved a spot on the december music shows. Now that would be rather useless if she has no new release, right?

Also, her ballads tend to sell a lot, she has always had a new song around the winter, etc. etc. =3 Lots of reasons why there will be a new single this year.

Where did you get that? As far as I know, she's only confirmed to be on Heyx3 today and Music station friday.

I have a feeling she'll skip a single and go straight to a new album/mini-album. This is under the assumption that she's going to follow her normal pattern of releasing albums at the end of the year or New Year's Day. If she's gonna follow the normal pattern, I think it would be a waste to release a new single, unless maybe it's digital.

Are you sure you aren't mixing it up with last years schedule. They don't really announce shows she is gonna be on three months in advance. It's usually like, two weeks in advance. Maybe they had some "technical error" at the website and they showed last years briefly?

I think she'll release a new single (hopefully physical not digital) by the end of the year...she has to attend the year end shows and if she just sings MW for all of them, that's gonna suck. As much as I love the MW performances, I want to see something new. I certainly hope she won't release a new album by the end of this year or early next year. Ideally end of next year would be good with a few singles before that. I'm still hoping of A Complete arena tour next year.

...or she'll go weird on us and release a mini album with all new tracks with no singles before that by the end of the year/beginning of next year.

...or no new single...MW all the way for all the year end performances

edit: I don't think having a album soon means its gonna be rushed...after all, ayu only released 1 single this year...and all this time she's just been touring, doing a few magazine shots, cms, calendar, etc. This year feels like its the least busiest year.

Yea that's what I thought. I remember a week or two ago, someone posted or bumped last years schedule and everybody was like "OMG December performances!!" or something.

Personally, I was wondering if "GREEN" was going to be like "Moments" was: a song just for commercials (with the possibility of an extended version for a single or B-side).

Then again, there's so much talk going around that makes me think otherwise. Evidence to a possible new single/full song includes Ayu previously writing about "GREEN" in her messages and even with her schedule (tour, TV appearances, etc). I just don't know when this is all going to become true.

Like I've said before: If she comes out with a new single, great! If not, that's okay. We've gotten many new things from her this year that I am already satisfied with. (Hey, I was satisfied with just "Mirrorcle World." To have three songs resung for her anniversary and having one of those three resung in Chinese were just bonuses for me! )
