braid = soft make-up?

well, if you notice, whenever ayu did braid she wont do a heavy make-up as usual, like bold eye-liner, and bold mascara etc

check out:-

B&D - single cover (its not really braid, but... its still with soft make up)
forgiveness - single cover
CDL0405 - WHATEVER perofrmance and so on
a musuem - (its not that soft, but softer than usual)

is this one of ayu's tradition?

edit: thx @ alternarist to remind me

i think because braid's are her "relaxing hair". if she piled on makeup with it it wouldn't look too good.

the relaxed thing

and possibly because there's too much going on with her hair, and she doesn't want too much going on with her face at the same time.
