I've seen a promo poster and a first press poster that look exactly the same with no text apart from in the bottom left corner. Is there a difference in size?
I'm assuming you cant tell the difference between a Japan version and an overseas version? Are there similar looking posters to the first press that could be bought in shops? Last edited by devilayu; 27th April 2009 at 12:57 PM. |

Promo posters has words on them and has the release date, tracklist and the covers of the different versions. First press bonus posters are usually textless i.e. Mirrorcle World.

As said, normally a first press poster doesn't have text, but promo does. And with JP/OS, I guess that promo posters are in other languages (Chinese etc.), but I don't know with first press posters. I guess there is just small differences in the colors, or something

a First Press poster is a poster you receive with the first press of an album / single, for example SECRET, GUILTY or Mirrorcle World.
They are always text-less. My guess is that promo-posters are posters that are made for just that: promotion. Their purpose is (I think) hanging around stores and malls in Japan :p They usually do have text and release dates on them, but not always I guess. I consider First Press poster more as "official" posters, and promo posters as just really fun, nice posters to have! ![]() |
