NEXT LEVEL USB Question...
Okay, so I've just changed my computer not too long ago and it is Windows Vista Home Premium if that is going to be something that has got to do with my USB.
Anyway I just tried using my USB on the computer but when I plugged it in for the first time, it installed the device software thing but when I went to My Computer to open the drive, it went Not Responding. It only responded after I plug out the USB. I tried this multiple times but still the same, not responding and responds again after I plugged out... Anybody happens to know how to solve this problem? ![]()

Did you restart after installing? It shouldn't freeze like that unless your CPU usage is extremely high. =| My boyfriend's laptop can't handle USBs over 1gig plugged into the side port because of power issues. They have to be plugged into the back of the laptop to work (which is strange, but his lappy is really old).
I googled this, hope it works because I'm no technical expert! Quote:

i see you are using desktop computer.have you tried the back side of your CPU USB?it should work perfectly because sometimes the front part doesn't support too many pendrives or harddisks especially those higher than 2GB and also the power isn't enough to support the pendrives

that answer my question quite well, i just need to know, and yes like what nanakopy87 had said, i think it's your front computer USB port don't support it, try using the back one, or other laptop?
