PUFFY's 1996 single debut, Asia No Junshin was a million-selling smash in Japan, which launched PUFFY-mania in their home country. Ami and Yumi's predilection for well-worn t-shirts and artfully ripped jeans became a much-copied style, and they were likely to be mobbed by fans if they set foot on Tokyo streets. Since then, they have sold millions of records in Japan alone, hosted a television variety show, “Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Puffy”, headlined arena-sized concerts, and inspired action-figure dolls and even a line of shoes. All of their singles has been licensed for high-profile commercials for products such as motor scooters, cosmetics, computers, and soft drinks. It might all seem crass if the music didn't tell a different, even subversive story about alternative culture meeting the main-est of the mainstream.

Information
My Story is the 26th single released by PUFFY. The title track was used as the Kanebo "Lavshuca" CM song. The limited edition comes with a bonus DVD and includes footage of four songs recorded live at their December 19, 2007 tour finale at the Shibuya AX.

New single already? I loved Because Of You. But only that song. I didn't like the b-sides.

I love honeycreeper too! But I don't think they'll ever out-do Splurge though. It's one of the best albums I've ever heard, that's for sure.

Frontier no Pioneer was pretty naff. It was supposed to be the A-side. Luckily Avril approached them with the song.

Speaking of Avril, the next time she has a concert in Japan, she says she's going to have PUFFY and Ai Otsuka join her.

Oh, and PUFFY is recording Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper for her cover album - it's released in two weeks.

Well Kaohun, as I said before Splurge is amazing but you should check out Hit & Fun obv. and NICE. That album's a bit old school PUFFY, but you might like it!
