Melrose's story "NEXT LEVEL TOUR 2009"
I know.. I know he's banned, but he went from Holland to Japan to see Ayu and here's his story. I think it's important to post it, because visions are important too.

Translated: Me: And? What's the place like overthere? Have you seen Ayumi? Have you taste her? Have you hear her? Have you smell her? Melrose: Hi there! Yes, I saw her! Me: O.O OMG, Tell me everything about it! OMG! OMFG! Melrose: (: What do you want to hear? It's was really cool. I never tought that I would cry, because I was very calme before the performance, but when she started with Rule, I couldn't help it and cried. Me: OMG, How did she look like? Had she sing great? Melrose: She looked so great! And she sang so awesome! I haven't hear one mistake! She has very much condition, that women. Me: Had ze nice intromovies? And which songs have she sang? Melrose: the intromovies were kinda "epic" It started with an "error" and suddenly she was there on the catwalk between lasers etc and sang Rule. She sang EVERTHING from NEXT LEVEL with some other songs like evolution, SIGNAL, For my dear..., In the Corner and HOPE or PAin. Me: Everything? Also identity? Melrose: Yes, identity too, but the audience didn't like identity and LOVE 'n' HATE very much. Me: Why not? Melrose: No idea. The intromovie wasn't very great too. Ayumi tortured the dancers who were sitting on a chair or something like that. It disturbed the audience, I think. Me: Did they call: "BOOOO!?" Melrose: Haha, no. But before that movie everybody was excited and when they saw that movie there excitement stopped immediately. And the girl behind me screamed things like: "Awwwwww...eeeehhhh" Me: O gosh, and how was Sparkle like? We were so curious for that one. Especially the way how she was thinking to sing that song live. Melrose: We? Oh yeah. You and me. Well, Sparkle wasn't really spectactular. But she didn't do the "Porno-dance" from the PV. She was more one with the audience and we had to move our arms when she sang "No No No" It was not really a big show, Sparkle. Me: And? Did you know the lyrics so you could sing the songs? Melrose: Yes of course, but a lot of people didn't sing with me. The others were screaming and clapping. But I have to go! Byeee. Thank you for asking me! Well, my english isn't very great but I hope you guys have understood this. What do you think? Are you now more exciter about Ayumi's tour? Coming up soon, I hope.

is that why people dont by her albums as much...because of such...darker rock songs?!?! omg...then thats really sad..

Hmm... I think the audience didn't really like the LOVE 'n' HATE-identity section cos of the movie... and maybe the genre doesn't go well with Japan lol.

lol I think you still would have had to translate if it was in English!...knowing the way Melrose talks lol
I'm glad he did end up going. It's always interesting to see another view of the concert.

Hmm, I wonder if it was more the performances/songs that put people off, or the intro video melrose mentioned. It does sound kind of weird, but I guess we'll have to see it. I'm really curiousss now!

i'm sad to hear that people didn't enjoy LOVE 'n' HATE! i thought that would be really cool to see live. i'm still excited to see it!
why was this person banned? 0_o it shows a lot of devotion to travel from Holland to Japan to see her!

I don't think it's so much that they didn't like it...mostly, especially during new songs, and with really theatrical pieces like identity-LOVE n HATE are, people are just really into watching it and seeing what's happening. idk but both times I went everybody couldn't stop screaming for Shuya x.x They're not really audience involved songs, kinda like the ballads. That's more of a time when people just enjoy the show as opposed to jumping around like rabbits.

During the interludes (the videos in the concerts), people usually aren't screaming around. They're just really into the videos, watching everything that's going on. With the exception of the ballad section, when Ayu's on stage, that's when everyone's screaming like madmen. And, during one or two of the songs, she's at the back of the stage, and even during the new or rarely performed songs, people are just watching Ayu and are watching to see what she's going to do. During the beginning and the songs where Ayu's like "GET UP AND DANCE AND SING ALONG!!!" are the moments where the crowds are more energetic.
