[2009] why ayu gave up CREA ?

so guys i was wondering , i totally love the old ayu song wrote under crea and i was wondering did ayu ever explain why she gave up on crea ?

what do you guys think ?

i was wondering if its because she though she wanted to do something different or maybe she's been so busy with her huge tour for the past few years she doesnt have time to compose anymore , or because fan found at it was ayu under this name she stopped ?

i was trying to find other explainations but couldnt think of anything else than those 3 maybe you guys have more ideas

ayu please make crea come back

Seriously, I don't know. But the better explanation for me, it's she don't have inspiration to compose music. Sometime, a person could create only one thing and no more. It's remind me the singer in Taiyou no uta. She only could create one great song...

I think she has made more CREA songs, but maybe the composers given by avex presented better songs than hers... Or maybe it's a problem of time... But I absolutely would like to have a new CREA's song ^^ .

What was her last song, will? I'm not sure about this...

im not sure either i started to open all my singles to check LOL

i miss crea so much mmmmm i wonder if avex would refuse crea songs , i mean those songs sold a lot more than the ones not write by crea .

i m really hoping if she come with a new album that somewhere in the booklet discretly one of teh song will have crea credit !

i agree with you yokae.

i was looking to her interview during that time and i m surprised the person that does interview never ask her this question? i d love to hear the ayu point of view.

there is one more thing i can think of , maybe ayu became more and more perfectionist and felt like her own songs werent good enough to her ?..... ( if its the reason why thats really sad too , ayu is SO talented )

I think it's because she's not angry to avex about the A BEST, I always felt she felt like her career was falling away from her, so she panicked and took hold every aspect. But now she feels like she doesn't have to.

Plus Ayu can't like a composer, she's said herself that she can't play instruments and isn't a musician.

But I'm hoping she'll compose some more one day.

I remember this past winter, before R/S single was announced, she commented on TA that she made a song, she talked about it like if it was her baby (xd) and said that the fact that this was her song wouldn't stop her from refusing it if the other songs were better.... so I suppose is Ayu herself who refuse her own songs XDDD

I also hope CREA will return someday ^^ I think she was way more busy in her CREA era... it may be lack of insipration the reason of no crea...

Yeah I do remember that during Days/GREEN or Rule/Sparkle she wrote that she composed a new song and it might/not might be used in the single and album.
Hopefully she will use it sometime though.

CREA is one of the best composers, she did many of the greatest songs.

There might be several reasons why she doesn't compose often though.
Maybe she doesn't have any inspiration, maybe she likes others' compositions more than herself's, maybe it's harder for her to compose songs with just 1 ear, maybe she doesn't have a lot of time to actually compose herself.

I do hope to see more of CREA's compositions because they are high satisfiers and end being some of the greatests.

maybe she's a little bit too busy with her schedule? since she is the song writer, so she might leave the job of composing the songs to others~ oh well~~

yaya...i agree with you...i love songs composed my CREA...
i believe she doesn't compose for now is because of her ear problem

I don't think she gave CREA up... more like, she just couldn't find an inspiration to compose... and also, her left ear... it would make composing difficult.

I think the reason she stopped composing songs is because DAI is not ocmposing for avex anymore. I have a feeling CREA needed DAI's help in order to exist, and no wonder, there's a little bit of simillarity in the ways they compose and CREA often co-composed with him, so with him away from avex, CREA's existance doesn't really have a place I guess.

Yeah, like other people mentioned, late last year / early this year, Ayu mentioned one of her pieces was up against two other ones for a song... obviously she decided against hers, since it's her who picks the final composition / arrangement.

As far as why CREA isn't around much anymore... I know with Secret and NEXT LEVEL, the albums were so incredibly rushed (Secret went from a mini album to a regular album and was recorded in about two weeks, while NEXT LEVEL's album tracks were recorded in about three weeks), so maybe she felt like she didn't have enough time to do a composition, or she wanted other people to help create songs. With her music, nowadays, she just needs to come up with a basic rhythm for her songs and then the composers and arrangrs can go off of that and create something, which may or may not be better than what Ayu had in mind.

Plus, over the years, she's admitted to loosening the control over aspects of her career - she used to be very in control over everything, but now she's allowed other people to help her out.

I feel like I should bash on crea just cause you don't want us too.

Composing a song takes alot of work. I'll tell you right now. If she had to compose all her songs, she'd be up to her 5th or 6th album right now. Not 11th. I don't see a problem with that personally. She probably doesn't have the skill. Composing takes time. You need inspiration. And with the millions of songs out there already its near impossible already to not copy off of someone else, at least a little. She probably just enjoys writting lyrics.

Basically, she sits there with an empty manuscript, a pencil, a keyboard, and is told "compose". Not that easy. But I will say that when she does compose, she does an amazing job.

Ayu seems really busy. I think she is a perfectionist too so I guess, unless she really feels inspired, she won't do it.

And yea, I suppose that expln above makes a lot of sense.
