Vanessa Mae? Anyone who knows her?
Hi there!
 (I dunno if this is the right section, if it is, please move... thank you) So, I was wondering: Does anyone of you know the violinist Vanessa Mae? (for the Sailor Moon fans: She played the violin part in the song "Outer Senshi Theme" or "Sailor Uranus/Neptune/Pluto Theme")... I don't really like violin music but I really think she's great, here take a look at this: Vanessa Mae - The Devil's Thrill Vanessa Mae - Outer Senshi (Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto) Theme Vanessa Mae - Red Hot So, what do you think? EDIT: A note: Vanessa had a Chinese mom and her father is from Taiwan (I dunno for sure), but her parents split up and her dad went to the UK and Vanessa grew up there so she has a British identity ... (or something like that...)

I knew Vanessa Mae around the time when Sailor Moon was airing here, but back then, I had no idea the Outer Senshi theme that I loved had the violin part done by her! I don't really listen to her music, I only ocassionally saw some short clips from her videos, but I absolutely adore the theme!

Of course my little friend!! I'm a sailor moon fan remember?? I would be so happy if i knew how to play violin
 ...well, at least one instrument, cause i don't know how to play any XD

I didn't know she did the Outer Senshi theme >.> I was pretty young when I got into Sailor Moon lol But I have seen some vids of her and yes, she is an excellent Violin player

Yeah I know her, haven't heard from her for a while now though...
but yeah I really liked her, like loved her when I was younger.. Still like her I guess Although I don't have any of her cd's, I used to tape everything, every time she was on tv...crazy youth an awesome musician with those looks, who wouldn't love her? seems that asian thing of mine was playing then as well  lol

She is an amazing violinist! Of course I know her!
I didn't know she did the Outer Senshi though. My favorite songs are "Storm" and "Destiny."
