Designer clothes & goods in Ayu's PVs & Album/Single covers
I remember not long ago reading about how Ayu was wearing a Ungaro couture dress for the [Inspire] single. And earlier still about the green dress in the Memorial Address booklet being from D2Squared [or was it Dolce & Gabbana?] But how many other album & single photos feature designer clothing or accessories? The other outfits in the Memorial Address booklet, are they any specific label? How about the clothes in the MY STORY booklet, Ayu gives thanks to Ungaro (among other brands) on the last page. I have a feeling that the Green-ish dress might be Ungaro, but it may also be the darker outfit featured.

What about in her PV's ? I know that there are some designer looks and pieces that easily stand out (The Louis Vuitton Theda bag on the Inspire PV, for example) But are there any other things that aren't so easily noticed at first? One thing I just noticed not long ago was in the [Dearest] PV, when Ayu is leaving the building in the beginning when she's wearing the white sweater, she is wrapped in a Louis Vuitton monogram shawl/stole (whatever you call those things)

Anyways, the reason i'm asking about this is because I have a friend whom i'm introducing to The Fabulous World of Ayu (nice, huh? "The Fabulous World of Ayu" ). I wanted to show him pictures of Ayu wearing high fashion looks & also of her one of a kind looks (I think the dress featured in the Rainbow booklet was made for her wasn't it?). Fashion is a very big part of his life (owned a vintage clothing store in L.A, studied fashion in college) and I thought that i'd start by showing him Ayu's smart sense of fashion.

She always wears branded clothing in her photoshoots, are you willing to show your friend some magazine scans? Just off the top of my head, she's worn whole Burberry outfits, Vuitton outfits, Chrome Hearts, Pucci, Guess/Marciano, etc. Her shoes are usually Japanese brands, I think, but once in a while a recognizable design pops up. I will look up some brands for you later if I can find them for the PV's and stuff (there's a possibility some of the stuff is custom made by her staff)

I was thinking of just sticking to material found on the album/single covers+booklets and PVs only. Magazines would take too long! my head hurts from the thought of going through the ViVi magazines I have and I don't even have that many!

She wore Puma at CDL 2000-2001

and a Versace outfit at the opening of her movie Tzuki ni Shizumi (i'll getpics later..)

In the Evolution PV, her denim outfit was from a store called "Nude" in California. If at any time she wears a teeshirt in her PV's, it is either MTRLG (for recent PVs) or it could be from the 88 Tees store. The Rainbow PV featured two denim outfits (orange & pink) from the MTRLG line. The Free & Easy PV were also probably MTRLG line clothing. I think the dress for the Moments CDS was Anna Sui. The Inspire CDS dress was Ungaro.
For her 2005 wall calendar she wore Bulgari jewels, Christian Dior, & D2Squared.

In any case, I don't think the brands should matter because Ayumi does have a stylist who helps her with things. The fact is, she only wears the stuff because she can afford to. I don't think she's wearing such obvious branded items in her daily life (in other words, her clothes are all a costume)

Well I don't have much to add, but the T-shirt Ayu wears on the Far Away single cover is by courreges21, a Japanese designer brand. Also the pink coat and white hat on the No Way To Say cover are from the Celine 2003 Fall line.

The Greatful Days PV is FULL of designer brands...her shoes are gucci I think, but I could be mistaken. It's been a while since I've seen it.

She wears lots of Adidas clothes too... All her dancers wore adidas in Arena tour 03-04, and some guys wore adidas in GD PV... And i have lots of pics where she wears adidas too,hehe...

Does anyone know who the dresses were buy worn when she sang "ourselves" on CDTV & AX? Also, the black floaty shirt she performed "Voyage" in on MS and Hey!x3.
