I pronounce it as Humming seven-four. I take 7/4 like time signature (e.g. 3/4 4/4 12/8 etc), and they're pronounced as their respective individual numbers.

I say it as Humming seven-quaters because the actual way of writing it is Humming7-over-4 like in a fraction.

^ Really? I thought she named it as Humming 7/4 cos the time signature for that song is 7/4. I mean, I don't have so called "proof" for this, but that's the most logical way that I see it.

I always call it humming seven four as well

I actually think 7/4 refers to musical note - 7 1/4 note...'cuz the title is "humming" 7/4...maybe she's saying humming a song of 7/4

7/4 is actually said in Japanese. So it's "Humming yon-bun-nana", if you'd like to say it the "official" way. ^^

Humming Seven-Four. I agree with the previous poster about the whole time signature thing, it's something I'm used to.

It's called "Humming SEVEN FOUR" because it's IN 7/4 time and that's how Ayu says it!

Wooow. ^o) I didn't even think of other ways to say it. << But you know.... all this time, I've been saying "Humming Four Seven" because apparently I can't read and even though I knew that the seven was above the four, I always seemed to read it... from bottom to top...

And probably because of the influence of "7 4 7"...

I usually refer to it as "Humming" but when I say the entire title, I just say seven by four. I think it's the literal translation of when Ayu says it during concerts.. [yon-bun-nana or w/e]

I simply say "Humming".
But if I had to include the 7/4 I would say Humming seven four.

Spoiler:
We had such a nice time. We started dating in t2m PV, took it slow you know, let our love grow. Then it got really serious in 2008. Then after AT2009 we moved in together. It was lovely. Then on AT2010 he asked me to marry him. He was such a sweet. And Ayu gave us our blessings. She was also such a sweet. Now me and Maro are such a sweets together. Aaaw, how time flies.

Leave it to Ayu to make a song into the weirdest (and one of the rarest) time signatures.

So, what does "yon bun nana" translate to?
