Russian Roulette doesn't really go anywhere. It's lacking in... something. Her first singles are always huge songs, this is lacking that huge factor that Pon De Replay/SOS/Umbrella had. Ah well. :/

I was expecting Te Amo as the lead single but I really like RR too. The gun shot at the end is very powerful and so are the lyrics, but I do agree with Keepsgettinbetter in that it lacks that "huge factor". I still hope it does well though!

It's received very little promotion taking the fact that it will come out in 33 days.

Just listened to Russian Roulette <3 I think it does have that special something, it's lyrics are actually quite deep and her voice carries it very well. I think it'll go down well with the public as a low-toned power ballad ^-^ It's something different from her well-publicised Disturbia and Umbrella.

i usually dont like rihanna, but Russian Roulette is an amazing song. i really love it. you cant hear her bad vocals in it, she sounds quite good in the song. im surprised!

Aw, but don't you like Disturbia? Ne-yo wrote that for himself but then decided it was too feminine and passed it onto Rihanna. It's one of my favorite songs by her. I'm not sure about this one, but I'm assuming he also wrote or co-wrote Hate That I Love You.
