seems like they really do not promote for this single.i remember they had listed all the promotions going on for you were.../BALLAD around this time.

I hope she at least goes on to Music Station next friday. The tour is ending isn't it?
And being a monday, there is a chance for the PV to be aired but I GUESS NOTTT...O.O

I know, she's promoting the single on her tour but would be perfect if she promote singles also for who are not going to her concerts..

I don't know, but after all that I am hearing about with the promotion situation, apparently Ayu and Avex is playing on a "risky" strategy again... And, we still have to worry about this - there's still a possibility that Arashi's "To be free" single during its second week could actually outsell Ayu's single...

Yes, that's true!!!!! Her sales are dropping every year, and maybe she can sell less without a lot of promotion

to make things more optimistic, no single has been able to stay at #1 for more than a week since 2008 and the chances of a single staying at #1 for 2 weeks is like 1/100 chance of happening. if arashi's upcoming single was to sell similar to "everything" (340K first week, 33K second week), then ayu could easily take #1 for the week if she can sell around 60K-70K first week

She's probably just way too busy to promote on TV. But man the least they can do is give us the MOON PV by now.

Yeah, I can understand Ayu being busy and all but like you said the next best thing would be to have the actual PV by now. MOON is a very Japanese song but that doesn't matter much if it doesn't get any attention. Avex must really have a lot of (unrealistic) faith in the fans because less than 2 weeks away from the release and we're still pretty much the only ones who know about it. I have a lot of faith in Ayu maintaining the streak but this really isn't looking so good right now.

I know! I just want to know wtf they're thinking. This isn't the way to release things.. it was the same with RnRC.. we finally got more info when we were fed up with waiting and weren't even eager for it anymore.

I was definitely still excited for it...and that album is amazing.
It's hard to have faith in ****ing Avex though.

I don't think Ayu should have to promote like she used to. She's been there and done that and deserves to take things a bit easier.

^ And Ayu and Arashi are in completely different situations so why even bring them up?

Just to clear up some misconceptions - their concerts are mostly live, they do write lyrics and music (sakurai and ninomiya mostly) but of course not to the same level as other artists (but certainly more than most boybands). but of course music is not the only thing that entertainers are concerned with. have you seen a monthly schedule for each member of arashi? I`m surprised they haven`t died.

Bottom line is i think things could be getting promoted more for Ayu`s single but they just decided not to and not because of `busy` reasons. Arashi really has nothing to do with this, they are just the most convenient example of people who are insanely busy still working in the time to promote. I think someone hit the nail on the head when they said avex have maybe given up on trying to appeal to a wider audience.

I understand where Sunshine was coming from now, but comparing 5 people to one, and that one person actually writing everything she does, compared to Arashi who I haven't seen every single live they've ever done but the fact that they don't sing live many times on MSta, etc., and that only some of their members contribute to some of the writing of their songs-- I think that's an unfair comparison and is the only reason I said that, which after all does have truth in it, or at least an exaggerated truth, but not a "big unfair false statement."
