WHAT? When?
How? oh no Do you know how easy it is to damage your throat and your vocal cords? :'(okay, so she has thyroid cancer? Maybe it's not so bad then...maybe she'll be okay. I hope she gets better...I'm just sad for her. Eiko has been one of my most beloved artists since I first heard O. I hope, that, even if she can't sing, she will continue to write. She has so much musical ability. She is one of the reasons why I will always have faith in Japanese artists....just one of those people that made me love music even more for it's power. I love her so much <3 Eiko Marathon.

Luckily I think only 4.3% out of all cases actually dies. This is a cancer type more common to Japan and Hawaii, and I wonder why that is...
Horrible. I hope she recovers, both from the illness itself and the nauseating experience it is to be a cancer patient.

Yes actually. I cried when I first saw it. It was like announced in May or something and its been depressing me these last couple months
Apparently she has to have her lymph nodes removed. So she might not be able to really sing much. That's what made me cry She said she would be fine though. Like survive. I think she tweeted a lot of this. And there's a video on either her own or the I've site that I have been wishing to find a translation too Its definitly not a happy time amongst the girls anyhow She also had to cancel her Perfect World tour to the dismay of her fans. But we all support the sweetheart through all of this. She's a strong and talented woman with an amazing voice. And music. For me she's in my top 3 musicians ever. And I really care about her I feel bad because she has a school too. *sigh* maybe shell keep composing as she's amazing at it Anyway all I can say is that eiko is fine. She just might not be able to sing much anymore T.T That is why this year is depressing. An Cafe, Eiko, and Utada are all out for a while. The only two musicians in my top 5 ever are ayu and MUCC I just hope the best for our lovely eiko. She's just truly a gem in this world of jpop. |

I think I'm already there! I have such a huge love for music that I find it hard to dislike anything and extremely easy to, well, fall in love ^-^ To the opening for HNNKN , I need you Ai no uta and Super Scription of data (TBR). I absolutely loved the last song, but the others too. The last one was just...wow.

I'll have to find somewhere to download Scheherazade, it's not on yt >.<
Naraku no Hana tricked me. It opened like "OLIVIA, OLIVA, OLIVIA...nope, it's Kokia. Only better." And then BAM. Great beat and fantastic melody. All of her songs really have got great melodies, they're enchanting with almost an eerie sound to them. Well it's official. You got me hooked on Eiko Shimamiya! Ont though I seriously hope she recovers as fast as possible. I held my own mother in law when she died from 3 years of battling it, so I know how it looks and leaves people feeling hurt. I already lost one really fantastic seiyuu/singer to Leukimia.

She is lucky because thyroid cancer is the only cancer that can be cured without problem. She'll just lose her thyroid but it's nothing. After two years she'll be ok! & normally her voice'll be ok if the surgeon is good! I'm experience in that matter as I have thryoid problem. I just have the left lobe now & I live perfectly.
Thyroid problems is the plague of this century but I think all problems have a solution. |
