Virgin Road Noise @ 4:04...

Has anyone else noticed the little noise in Virgin Road at 4:04 in the song? Virgin Road is my favorite Ayumi song of the whole 3 single project, but that little noise drives me crazy!!! What is it I wonder?

maybe you have a bad rip of the song? i can't really hear any weird noise at that part.

At first I was 'there was a big nose in Virgin Road's PV?' lol but then I realized.
I noticed that little noise too though o_o maybe it's just made by instruments like drums. I guess.

The word I always think of is "slip.". I'm not sure what to think about it.

It isn't the rip I have tho, it's in every one I have downloaded, even the super rip from HTMSD (is that his screen name?).

Maybe... It's a sound that is definitely out of place.

I'm surprised you're having a hard time hearing it. It's so obvious to me when I hear it. Maybe your mp3 has slightly different timing or something.

Ooh that is what it sounds like kind of! But it totally sounds accidental, like it shouldn't be there.

^It almost seems like they used it on accident or they opened it up too much at the point compared to where they might have had it out previously in the song.

maybe its really how it is... like evolution where it skipped in the middle... i kept on downloading several mp3s but always get that skip... turns out, its really part of the song. hehehe.

I can hear the noise you mention, but only if I blast it really loud, and it still doesn't sound too abnormal. It sounds like a part of the drum beat. I guess your audio configurations (bass, treble, etc) are set in a way in which some sounds get more enhanced than others, so the reason why it must be sounding a little awkward for you. In my speakers configuration it sounds fine.

LOL there is one, that really sounds like a bad mute-like glitch but is actually a normal part of the song. When I was just a recent ayu fan, and evolution was all new and everything I kept downloading several times the rips to see if I could find a glitchless one. I then started to think the original track rips were actually rips of the PV, in which the skip really looks like a glitch, because in the PV, the exact part where it skips and goes mute, the image also goes glitchey with a red coloration and pause. But then after listening to the instrumental rip, the I am.. albumrips, and seeing TV and DVD rips of the PV, I finally conviced myself that the skip "glitch" was actually intentional and a normal part of the song.

really? Maybe it's just the same song being spread around. You don't know how long I've been searching for an HD version of Real me pv and no matter what website I look around, they always end up being the same pixelated quality, even if they claim it's "ripped from their dvd". It's like one person ripped the video forever ago, and people just spread the same video around. Same with teens. Until a week ago I thought the acoustic version and original were the same song, then I found out that one person just ripped the acoustic version and claimed it was the original, and just spread it around.

These "weird" things in ayu's songs aren't that uncommon apparently. There's something that sounds like an old car horn in Rainy day and the really brusque and loud el guitar starting up in Together When.
