code of conduct for meeting Ayu?

I'm not sure if this topic is necessary or not but...

I just finished reading the Ayu in LA threads. It's really quite amazing and unique that Ayu gives her fans so much access. I really hope that in the future Ayu's overseas fans in different countries will have more opportunities to meet her in person. However, I also fear that if a fan is too aggressive or pushy or does something weird, Ayu or her staff will cut off contact in the future.

So, I was wondering about the perspective of the AHS members who were able to meet Ayu in London or LA. Do you have any opinions as to what should or shouldn't be done if we get an opportunity like London or LA again?

Don't bring too many things to get signed because it gives the image that you're just wanting a bunch of stuff signed with intent to sell.

This isn't really a taboo thing, but don't ask too many questions on upcoming projects because she's not allowed to release that kind of information so it's kind of pointless. I did this myself and I shouldn't have!

Other than that, just be cordial and kind... Ayu takes the time to sign your things, take pictures, and all of that. No need to rush her or make her feel uncomfortable. Be patient and don't be pushy!

(I didn't read the Ayu in LA threads because they would have made me wish I could be there. )

I think simply treating Ayu with common courtesy would be fine, and keeping in mind that she's awesome for wanting to hang out with her fans, and deserves utmost respect.

I would imagine that you just have to be nice, polite and use common sense. I know sometimes it's hard to maintain composure especially when meeting Ayu but remain calm and don't send off any creeper vibes... And like emiko says, don't go no where near her smelling funky! Shower!!!!

Just be nice and admire her that she's able to hang out with her fans like lots of other artists can't do.

Bring only one or two things, say thank you and smile. She loves compliments and gifts but don't try to go too crazy, lol.
I should also add that you should quietly savor the moment, because she will only appear for like a minute or two. Wait until she's really gone for you to cry/freak out/whatever.

not just that picture, but his freaky actions too as well as his creepy facebook/twitter posts. meeting Ayu is NOT a time to tell her to convert to your religion, no matter what your beliefs are. also, if you're meeting Ayu you might want to be friendly with her other fans instead of standing to the side like a total creeper for hours upon hours.

i think the important part about meeting Ayu is to act like you're meeting an old friend. don't scream at her OMG OMG OMG AYUUUUU!!! be polite, say hi, only have a couple of things to sign, don't take pics until she oks it, let other fans have their time and don't hog all her attention.

its amazing, i feel like most of the fans who have been able to meet Ayu have been very well behaved, especially when I was there in LA. it was totally chill and amazing, especially the night when there were only five of us.

i think when she sees a group of people standing outside her hotel holding her CDs she'll figure it out! haha! seriously though, most of the time Stan seemed to come out first, so its always great to talk to him. he's REALLY nice. i asked him if i could have a picture with him, and he totally was cool about it. otherwise, i'm sure when you see Ayu coming out you can just say "Hi Ayu!" or something! there's a difference between screaming at her like a maniac and calling out to her in greeting like you would upon seeing a friend.

yeah, you're right about that. I didn't know Stan was coming out first of time, though it makes sense of course. thanks for answering (ownsarai as well). I hope one day I'll have a chance to show her how well I can behave!

i don't know if he is a member here or not...but basically after Ayu said in the CNN interview that her inspiration comes from God this guy thinks that God has been leading him on a mission to pray for her to convert to Christianity and to give up her drinking habit. he brought her a 100 year old bible in LA and gave it to her and i guess he tried to witness to her there to "save" her. he felt that God was telling him not to have things signed but to tell Ayu about Jesus instead. he also spent some time in Japan trying to find Ayu, i think he was there for a month total. he stalked her there trying to meet her and witness to her about Christianity, but was unable to find her (of course). also, i think he is like $7,000 in debt from making these trips.

i know this becasue i've been forwarded emails and been to his facebook (although i don't know where that is now).

anyway, i don't want to make this about religion, and thus get these posts deleted, i'm just stating for the record the facts about this guy. i don't think its appropriate to use your time with Ayu in a way such as this, no matter what your beliefs are.

as for his general behavior...he was a total creeper when i saw him in LA. when he walked in to the room the mood just died and he barely said anything to us. he just sat there, silently, being creepy. and when we went outside it was the same, he stood off to the side not saying anything. even when Ayu was there, he held back till the very end when he freaking jumped out at her when she was trying to get in her vehicle. ugh!

he also contacted me randomly thru twitter trying to share a cab with me and a hotel room and such...which also creeped me out since i had never even spoken to or seen this guy before!!!!

he is so creepy. I saw his twitter the other day and couldn't handle it, it creeped me out so much.
