Ayu posted on her official Facebook page today informations about this digital compilation of her songs that were previously used as theme songs for TV dramas.
You can already get it on iTunes. It came out of nowhere but I actually think it's a good idea since it's only a digital release. "ever free" is one of my favorite tracks of all time!

Well, that's a surprise, I didn't expect this to happen. So what's this all about? Ayu songs that were used as drama theme songs?

I guess there's a lot of people who search for some of her theme songs after watching the dramas, so it makes sense to have some kind of compilation for them available for download.

12. The Show Must Go On

Someone wants to speak, they do, the audience hears it, but it's always a count down until it explodes in their face and effectively kills the topic of the thread. Then that person gets angry at everyone, stops posting for awhile because of it, feels like they can only share their opinions with their self, and that feels a bit surreal. They feel guilty about it but inevitably start posting again and the show goes on.

As long as it's just digital releases, I don't mind at all avex doing those compilations. I think it's a good thing for her casual listeners, and it's good for Ayu to have casual listeners interested in downloading some of her stuff.

Nice idea and I'm glad that it's only a digital release. For such kind of release in phyisical edition I would prefer to see more songs. Maybe in some years when Ayu's next songs'll be used in drama?
