Ahhh!!! I forgot to mark ENKA, which I am a big fan of.

Never used to be. It's a Japanese ballad song. Enka is usually sorrowful and the story of love lost or longing. These are ballads that are in a newer style than traditional Japanese music. In fact, they are a combination of performance and ballad singing. The style uses delayed vibrato. I really like Nagayama Yoko and Hikawa Kiyoshi among others.

My favourites from the list are VideoGame Music, Pop/Rock and Heavy Metal.

I love orchestrated stuff from games like Resident Evil and Final Fantasy, I like Heavy Metal such as KoRn, Marilyn Manson...well..that's NuMetal but still Lol. But I still like numerous Britney Spears song, Madonna, Christina Aguilera and what not. My music tastes are weird. =P

well i figured j-pop wasn't exactly a genre... anyway if i put it i would have to put k-pop, c-pop, russian pop, french pop, who knows what else...

Ayu would probably fit into Pop/Rock i guess...

Utada: R&B

Morning Musume: Bubblegum Pop

Dir en grey: Heavy Metal

and so on...
