Reminds me of something really chinese-y. The words on there are Chinese characters too, I think.
I know, Japanese has a lot of Chinese characters...
But do they mean the same thing? Do you say them the same way?

one thing I can make out is that it includes a Countdown live 2002-2003 ayupan figure (1 of 6 or all six I think). And the price is 3000 yen (tax in)... approximately $28.00USD+

Thanks for the information!

From what I understand of the Japanese description, the bag includes. . .

* 1 out of 6 CDL Ayupan in each bag
* Stationery
* There are 6 different bags in all
* Each bag contains 3 things total ("lucky bags")
* You cannot return the bag or the items within it in exchange for something else
* There are a limited number of bags produced, so buy them early

I assume it's the envelope that lets you insert a talisman for good luck and evil-warding purposes.....

The upper character means "Good luck" or "Happiness" and the lower character means "envelope" or "bag".
