Awww!! I'm so sorry for you!!!!!! I don't know what I'd do if I lost all my Ayu stuff....
It's like losing a 10 page essay...except a LOT worse!!

I hope you can fix your PC soon...

As for what I'd do, I dunno. If I were still using 56k, I'd probably just get my top 10-20 Ayu songs and get the rest whenever I could. In terms of vids, I'd only save LQ CMs and such. Since I've got cable, I'd try and attempt to get the HQ vids/mp3s again, but I'd still just get the things I'd be sure to re-watch and listen to again.

That's why backup files on CD, is a very very good idea.

I think I can deal with just losing all my Ayumi files, it just means losing a bunch of remixes...

There should be loads of CMs on 'Divine Ayu' run a search on Yahoo! if you don't already know the site.

I know what its like, I took my computer to this guy to have a simple problem fixed and he completely destroyed it. I lost everything, or I thought I did, luckilyI had copied every Ayu video file I had for my brother a few months before, and was able to get most of them back. I had completely forgotten about doing it untill I saw CDs mark Ayu Videos laying on his computer desk.

This happened to me... but a bit different... when I moved out of my parents house a couple years ago I had to delete everything... I was going to save it all to CD, but ended up not... I never re-downloaded everything, I just watch things online and keep my favourite mp3s. I'm happy

I feel your pain, I lost everything once because of a virus cause my computer to crash. Just get your favorite songs, you don't need 180GB of Ayu video and mp3.

Sorry to hear that... I'm lucky, as most of my Ayu files are on CD. My comp's broken at the moment, and it's been a relief that I have a lot of stuff on CD...

It's really a bad thing for u also for me , hehe because I plane copy all ur file but now seems can't lo, so sad
hmm I also spend much painstaking to collect ayu's stuff, some stuff like those videos that can't buy in the market are really more important for me , because money can't buy ma.
One more, 180GB I think use CDs to backup will....crazy ,hahha I use DVD buner for a long time lo,in Taiwan, one dvd 8X +R/-R only less than 20NTD (0.6USD),it's really more cheep than CDs.
One more of cuz la,I'll help u rebuild ur files , hope u can feel more beter heheh.

I'm soooooooooooooooooo sorry, that happened to me too, what I did is I collected all the Ayu stuff that I DIDN'T have at the time instead of all the stuff, it saved a lot of time, so I only had about 80gigs on stuff instead. Don't give up! Ayu is worth it!!
