Oh i was watching the pv this morning, and started thinking whats it on about. It looks like the technology is taking over or someting

That was my first thought, that it was from some kind of anime. I really don't know. The pod things, when they hit the ground, form a bunch of skyscrapers and buildings. They seem to be coming from that huge machine in the middle of the growing pod-cities.. Then those robot-pods start stomping through and ripping everything that's left of the old city(ies?) up.. It has to mean something, but every time I watch it, I'm confused. <_< I keep wondering what the various people have to do with it.. some are trying to escape, I think, and some are just.. acting like nothing's wrong?
 This is one hell of a PV..

I was confused as to why it was chosen. At first I wasn't even convinced it was the "official" PV, I got the impression it just kindof became it because Viewsic put that sequence on whenever they played the song. In fact I'm still not sure...
It makes a nice change to have an anime PV, but it is a bit repetitive. Since I don't feel it was made specifically for this song, I don't look for any meaning in it.
