Less CREA compositions..reason why?

Hrm.. just speculation, but on RAINBOW, there's a lot of CREA pieces in there, however people disliked RAINBOW and didn't really like it as much as some other albums, right? Maybe she stopped composing a lot because of fans not approving of her work? I'm just wondering this at the moment.. could it be true? :O

We can never be truly sure, but ... people seem to have been criticizing her pieces because they're not 'masterpieces' anymore like M or Evolution.

I like her compositions lot, they are really deep. Just look at "M" and you'll see, and RAINBOW is a really good album when it comes to the lyrics, take a look at HANABI, Voyage or Over to see, meybe its not te best musically, but most of the songs have deep meanings.

i relli like when Ayu compsoses ehr songs it's relli unique! i hope she composes more of her songs in the future!

I'm sure she was just really busy in that span between RAINBOW and Memorial address. That's what I always figured.

well.. too busy i think... or maybe she doesnt sure about her composition anymore.. we all know that her latest own creation song in a single is forgiveness which didnt sell well ^^... but overall i think all of her composition expose her own nature which is good to be heard.. i love it ^^

I didn't think any of Ayu's compositions were really good except for M, Endless sorrow and her 'MY STORY' stuff.

even though I used to LOVE Dearest and evolution, I've heard them enough to realize that it wasn't the melody that made them such good songs. Can anyone honestly take out the 'melody' from evolution and call it a masterpiece?? I think not.

maybe it is because we discourage her to write more by saying how bad the rainbow album was. no one appreaciated her work so why bother writing more.

I always thought she hasn't composed anything really... because she's just been busy. Maybe once she finds the time and finds the inspiration again.

i hope she would get her confidence bcak and compose!! and we should be supportive of her and stop critcising.

I always figured it was because she was so busy. Or she just doesn't want to put anymore effort into composing. The quality of her composed songs seemed to decrease after I am... anyways

(I'm not talking about CREA + DAI, just CREA). On Rainbow, I really like Heartplace. I think Dolls is a beautiful song, but it's wayyy too repetitive. And Close to you is one of my least favorite Ayu songs and she composed it. On MY STORY, while I don't really like Winding Road I think it's probably one of the most professionally composed songs she's done. I love Humming 7/4.. verses are great, but choruses are lacking.

With regards to CREA compositions, well, basically on RAINBOW, as what has been said, she was doing the Ayu Ready? show. It was a great show initially but it started getting kind of stale after sometime ... and what's more she's was really burdened with a lot of work at the juncture in time, so I think songs like "Close to You" and "Over" in the RAINBOW album were quite basically, not as great sounding.

It's the lack of foresight. Since songs like M were such a hit, people took advantage of that popularity and made her even MORE busy, which obviously led to a decrease in the musical aspect of her composition. What's more with her HORRID schedules, it would seem EXTREMELY hard for her to even take a break and try to source for melodies. And to add on, ever since Memorial Address, it is APPARENT that Avex has pushed Ayu SO HARD that well, she quite literally needs to RUSH, and HOW can you produce SUPERB compositions when your company is hot on your heels?

I think she's really been trying to tell her fans that she really appreciates their support, so she's still been putting in effort in composition.

Yar, there is indeed less CREA compositions now, but I think Ayu just needs a longer break to really garner back these "lost" melodies and source more for inspirations.

Yeah, I guess. But possibly, she may be fueled to write about these experiences and belt out a power ballad like no one has ever seen before.. @_@. However; if Ayu composes and writes a new song, who's to say it will sell well? It may be the BEST SONG ever, but millions of people may not flock to buy it.. Is it just because she's less popular? O-o
