What do you think about the Full "Rainy Day" version?

omg... it'll grow on me, maaaaaaaybe. I'm sorry to say I'm not impressed with "Rainy Day" at all, it's so boring and repetitive gaaah. What do you guys think?

I kind of agree...I liked the preview... But... Like with Pride, Rainy Day does not have bridges from the verses to the choruses, and that kind of annoys me. Most of her other songs have these bridges, which IMO integrates the refrain better, and doesnt make the refrain so suprise-coming...if you understand me,hehe

Yeah, I don't like how the verses connect to the chorus, which was I think a problem with some songs from MY STORY (HOPE or PAIN, HAPPY ENDING) and Pride. Sounds really cut & pasty... Besides that, I think it's alright. Hoping the PV will make me like the song more.

what do u mean by a bridge between the verses and the chorus :S i thought this song has a bridge in around 2:20 ..

anywho .. i really like this song .. i thought this song is so calm and relaxing ..

I HATE the song and I tell you, I'm a HUGE ayu fan. I have all her albums since A song for XX. HEAVEN, WILL, B&D AND PRIDE have been all disapoitting to me. I cannot stand B&D..as soon as she says BOOOLDDDD, I rush to my mouse and close winamp even if I have to break a leg to get to it..LOL
It's funny how ayu's songs have drastically dropped in quality whereas Namie Amuro and Koda Kumi's songs have both increased in quality. Looks like one album I won't be buying from Ayu.

Yeah, I agree. Violet Sause is my favorite Namie song, haven't heard so many but that song is so good!

I simply LOVE rainy day. I think it sounds lovely, like a blend of HANABI, kingyo hanabi and something else, RAINBOW perhaps?.... It's really one of the most beautiful ayu-songs I've heard. Truly. I've found a new favourite song. THis songs makes me want to sit in front of a fire with a hot cup of tea in the early autumn evenings......

Edit: It just seems so entirely meaningless and stupid why she released B&D crap insted of this...? Perhaps I should just be happy none of the other album songs are like that awful single.

I think the song is very calming and relaxing. I like those kind of songs! can't say it's better than the ballads released. Pride, HEAVEN, and Will are far better than this but other than that, not a bad song at all!

Reminds me of an Ai Otsuka ballad... lucky for her, the songs I like from Ai are her ballads (Kingyo Hanabi, Planetarium) This song is:

1) something you can sway to, very relaxing
2) repetitive

Still, I'm relieved it came out the way it did. I was scared it was going to be some cutesy thing like HONEY, but her voice really doesn't sound so cutesy in this song and that's good. Also, this song doesn't bore me like Dearest or Carols. It's a lovely song, melody isn't anything too special, but I can't wait to see the lyrics. I like the part at 2:30, but she holds out her iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii too long again ;.;

D: I don't think her songs have dropped in quality. I like all her songs from this year.

I haven't listened to the entire thing yet, but it seems a lot of people are just not liking Ayu's new stuff.

It sounded really nice and calming from what I heard, and I don't really care about repetition unless the song is bad. And I've yet to hear a "bad" song from Ayu.
