Questions about Team Ayu...

Hola, everyone!

I'm going to Japan in about a week or so on a student exchange program. I'll be in Osaka, and I very much look forward to going to the three concerts Ayu will be having at Osaka Jo-Hall. I plan to join Team Ayu once I get there.

I'm pretty sure my host family can help me sign up once I get there, but I have questions about how Team Ayu members can get tickets, and I want to know more about that (I just went through absolute hell to get a ticket to Ai Otsuka's Osaka Concert). So, here goes:

1. Can Team Ayu members get tickets before they go on sale to the general public?
2. If a Team Ayu member wants a ticket to Ayu's concert, will the member come first and be guaranteed a ticket?
3. Is there some sort of raffle to determine who the tickets for the best seats go to?

As I know there are some blocks just in front of the stage that are reserved for TeamAyu members, but it´t not garanteed to get a ticket I think *a friend told me* And I also think that the Member-Only Order Time for Arena Tour is over, but I´m not sure XD

It's definitely to late to get them through Team Ayu. You would have had to sign up for Team Ayu months ago. But how it works is once in the fan club you sign up for the number of tickets you want. (I think it's 2 or 4 and no more than that.) Then they are given away by random lottery(you won't know what seat you are getting, but it won't be a nosebleed seat or anything like that) also the tickets aren't shipped to you until a weak before the concert. If you want to see her tour this year, you really have to start looking into getting them now. It is most likely sold out or close to sold out already. So what you are going to have to do is bid on tickets through: auctions.yahoo.co.jp. However you need to live in Japan in order to do that, so you are going to have to know someone that will do it for you. Or, once you get to Osaka, find out where the ticket resale shops are and get your tickets from there. They will probably be expensive though. Auctions will be expensive too, but ticket resale shops are often even more so, but at least the seats are good. I went to her shows in Hiroshima last year and am going to the Saitama ones this year, and yes this process is a pain in the ass. For Ayu it's worth it though. I really think it is BS though that international fans can't join the fanclub(or bid at auctions) - and this goes for nearly every artist in Japan, not just Ayu.

I know that the Osaka tickets don't go on sale until March 5th, so there's really nothing more I can do at the moment. I'll be in Japan by that time, so hopefully I'll be able to work something out. :/ Thanks for your helpful tips!

Even if they aren't officially onsale, still check http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp ahead of time. There will be lots of auctions for tickets before they are even on sale. Don't ask how, I have no idea.

I have checked, but I'd rather be able to see the ticket for myself and make sure the person isn't lying about the seats or anything. Plus, pretty much all the tickets up there are for pairs of seats...I mean, worse comes to worse, I get a pair and sell the extra, but I plan to go by myself, so getting a single ticket would just be so much more convenient...o___o Thanks for your help!

Even if it says 2 tickets, you can still get just one if you want. Once the auction is over, that is the price for ONE ticket(in most auctions). You then specifiy if you want one or two tickets, if you want two, you pay twice the amount of what the auction ended for.

You can always buy tickets from yakuza if you are desperate enough...hehe.

I think TeamAyu members do get to reserve how many tickets they want ahead of time. My friend just bought the two of us pair tickets from somebody on Yahoo! Japan auctions. So...it's always good to have connections in Japan prior to studying abroad.
