I agree completely - Ashlee Simpson has been "singing" for far too long. (And by that I mean since the day she started)

I wouldn't mind if Kelly Clarkson retired as well. She has rubbed me the wrong way since her "debut". I find the whole American Idol scene very brainless.

I agree with Lumix! Completely.

I'd also like bands like: Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Simple Plan, Slipknot, Click Five... and all others that are similar, to just STOP. I will shudder... in a cyber-ish way.

Sorry if you like some of the mentioned, but I can't stand them. I prefer indie rock, emo rock, and just completely funky stuff like the Arctic Monkeys. <333

I don't really like American pop singers. I like a lot of American rock, most of the time. I'm not fond of pop, unless its sung by someone that can sing decently, has been around for a few years or more & has a different style.

Paris Hilton needs to stop singing before the album's released so there won't be a second one. Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff (I just can't stand her voice), her sister what's-her-name, Lindsay Loha. I can stand Christina Agulara and Kelly Clarkson. Christina at least has a nice voice IMO, so does Kelly Clarkson. I'm pretty indifferent to Avril (although I thought LET GO was a nice album).

Hmmm, did anyone mention that new generation of C-pop singers in HK? After the 90s, HK's music's quality has been declining very rapidly. The singers can't sing and the lyricists are illiterate.
