something i noticed...Do we REALLY like CREA?

well, flipping thru my I Am.. booklet, i finally realized that CREA "composed" the music...which is just the notes on the scale....nothing else...the arrangment is the instruments/sound effects for the music....i was thinking maybe a lot of people liked I Am.. for the awesome music...but we have other arrangers to thank for that...so, i really dont see whats so good about CREA's compositions, cuz its hard to even pay attention to during the song, cuz yur focusing on Ayu's voice and the arrangment. haha just something i was thinking about.

I LOVE CREA!..Sure, the arrangements are nice.. but I just LOOOOVEEE the compositions. Ayu is such a smart composer sometimes. Listen to the melody of Free & Easy, Daybreak or RAINBOW.. It's so complicated, yet catchy and unique.

Yeah, she only composed/co-composed them, she never arranged anything.

I like CREA, she is a great composer for not having any kind of education within that area.

When she has composed the song herself we know that the song is given to us the exact way she want us to have it, even though she didn't do the arrangement for it she has definately been involved in the arrangement of her songs, picking what she like and not like, in many cases.

You notice the composition more than you think, if you'd la-la-la to the song, or sing a part of it, the melody that you sing is the composition. The instruments is like a "layer" that you put on top of the actual melody... eh... or how I should put it.

I agree with that.

I think Ayu's best composition for me is "Close to you".

Crea is okay. I just like how the songs are weird and don't have a set order.

Why not?...Composing your own songs are very meaningful and most importantly, they are NICE!!!...evolution, UNITE!, Dearest, M etc..

yea she did not arrange them but as a composer, im sure she noes wad her song to turn out like and she would gave comments as to how it should be..

I've never paid attention. I like particular songs but not very much paying attention if it was her creation or not. I know M was done by her and I like it. As well as UNITE! & evolution. But there's lot of other songs that I like and I don't know who composed it. Lol.






And I think I have never said I like CREA. Even if I did, it must be during the fanboy/ayumites era, where everything Ayu is ZOMG-TEH-BOMB.

CREA is awesome! I love how most of her songs are in a different arrangment than the usual (verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus-chorus)
And her songs have surprises and unexpected turnings... And my favorite songs are from Crea!
