[Oricon] A BEST 2 ninki-charts

This is the ninki-graph (populaty-chart) of A BEST 2 -Black-. you can see that A BEST 2 is especially popular with the older people, rather than young people.

Oricon furthermore states that both A BEST 2 -Black- and A BEST -White- are at the top of the popularity-charts. Black is number 1 and White is number 2.

And it totally unexpectedly stole both the number one and two position on the popularity chart!?

Uh, yeah, didn't think about that. That's actually quite surprising, although maybe not very, considering BLACK gets a whole lot more promotion with the part of Me PV airing in the music channels.

Well considering how their last album sold 280k 1st week, I don't think it's likely.

Hopefully they sell less now ;D

And NINKI is some poll of a random amount of selected subscribers, asking them "What do you think you will buy of the releases next week?" and then they probably rate them using a point system or something.

Ayu's 2nd week competitor is EXILE.

Their 5th album EVOLUTION is coming out, a CD+2DVD[I think..]
So if they sell low, the chance of WHITE or BLACK [depending on the first week] to snag no.1!

Ah, yeah.

If EXILE would sell 200k~ Ayu would needs to sell over 500k in her first week, or she'll most likely drop to 2nd place for the second week.

My HOPE is that she'll sell a lot, and SLOWLY decrease from there..

Maybe we get a first week with 800k total

And second week might have: A Best on 1. and 3., and exile on 2. But it should be interesting to see how different white & black will fluctuate in the next weeks.

Interesting connection that EXILE's album is called evolution

I'm 110% sure that she'll follow the normal drop curve, which means she'll need first week sales of around 550k in order to hit a million. Unless the album(s) will make some kind of record breaking chart run.

Remember though, best albums really don't follow the normal sales patterns for any artist..

It's the most popular among 40 year olds, Ayu has been around for 8 years, that means they were 32 around her debut.

^Their 3 singles did pretty well though (compare to their previous singles)...

The %'s is what teth was talking about. The actual numbers haven't appeared on the NINKI chart yet.

What's the highest? I remember for a Mr. Children single, they went hella high..
