fated and Ayu/Nagase break up... coincidence?

I just watched the PV to fated and I can't help what eerie timing it, and the announcement of the break-up has had. I mean, of course Nagase didn't get hit by a car or whatever (although I'm sure he feels like it now), but they were supposed to get married... and were madly in love.

Perhaps this was Ayu's way of letting us know how she was feeling?

i though of this too, i mean what a coincidence that a few days before the single release, with a PV adressing the same situation (kinda) this gets published in TA, i mean, they always had her releation soo underground, and this year they let the people know about the wedding and then this

I'm assuming the PV was released today (Friday the 13th)? I don't know what day it is in Japan, but still... I hope this isn't the start of bad luck for Ayu, you know?

Everything seems so fishy and awkward...I really hope this break up is for real, and not just a public stunt.

I didn't like the whole fall in love with a bodyguard theme of glitter/fated. In my opinion, ayu is just adding fuel to the tabloids that recently mentioned she was getting "advantage" of them while she was drunk. This plot was awkward and came in a weird moment of her career in my opinion.

Nah...friday 13th are usually the luckiest/best/most awesome days I have in a year, so the whole unlucky thing related to it is very bogus.

poor ayu...it is a shock to me.
it probably isnt a coincidence...ayu saw signs of the break up an hence wrote fated...just like hikki released the other song before she divorced

Plus Ayu seems awfully calm and almost...cheerful? in her blog announcement and that says to me that she maybe already found a way to cope with the breakup---through the short film, probably.

Then again it might just all be a marketing scheme (the PVs that is) and the breakup could just be a coincidence.

I think they've been broken up for a while. I'm not sure how long, but how the announcement was made after MusicStation had to have been planned.

The 'fated' taping at Music Fighter was in early July. She was emotional in this performance, but it's hard to tell whether it was because of her own personal break-up. I think 'fated', at the time it was written, was written primarily for the movie 'Kaidan', as was 'HEAVEN' for 'SHINOBI'.

I think the PV's are a coincidence, but the timing of the announcement definitely isn't.

Maybe they had already decided to end their romantic relationship before Ayu wrote "glitter/fated" and she wrote those songs and created the PVs the way she did to express her emotions with the whole thing. We just didn't know about it until now. Didn't someone say that Ayu had told her fans that there was something she wanted to tell us? So maybe she's been dealing with the break-up for quite a while now.

^ Yup, I'm guessing that as well. She needed time perhaps to deal with the break up. And perhaps some time to recollect herself before stepping out again.
