What if JEWEL was a single?

I've been having this thought since last 2 years lol...Why ayu didn't make this song as single? instead she made it to 'promote' her album?

I mean..if it was a single it'll be really nice...I'm thinking about nice cover...and of course the materials inside..maybe JEWEL acoustic Orchestra and of course what i want is the Instrumental

I think that JEWEL would sell really really well, since it's a very very good ballad from Ayumi. IN fact, my friend got into Ayumi after listening to JEWEL. Which makes me so happy. =D

i always figured that if JEWEL was released as a single then it would've gotten a different treatment. the piano is nice and simple and it fits perfectly into the Secret album (like teddy bear with Duty), but at the same time i think that was just the demo version of the song. if it was gonna be a single, then ayu probably would've given it the standard winter ballad treatment with more band instruments and a louder chorus (No way to say, CAROLS, Heaven for example)... then JEWEL would've blended with the rest of them. if this was true then i guess it's a good thing, this makes JEWEL that more special, but at the same time i would've liked to have an instrumental for this song... partially cuz then someone could utagoe this and we'd get a right and proper vocal track haha. and yeah 1 LOVE would've been paired up with it of course... and that's just perfect IMO so i have nothing to say for that haha

I wouldn't have been very happy if 'JEWEL' had been a single, cause' I thought it was a really boring ballad :S
I would have rather seen 'momentum' as a ballad single from that year tbh.

I think "JEWEL" would've been a great single, though I'm not sure how it would do (sales wise), so I don't know whether to say, "It would've been great!" or not. I definetly would've enjoyed it, though.

JEWEL was meant to be a single but I heard that Ayu injured her eye o.O and she couldn't release it so instead they put it in the album. I think it'd be really nice though, I'd love to see that beautiful cover and booklet, it'd probably be as beautiful as the pv was =D
Though I agree with ~ayu-cake~ I'd rather momentum as a single cause I loved that song from the first time I heard it, both JEWEL and momentum have a wintery feel so they'd fit pretty well together imo

Yeah; that's what i wanted to say...it was meant to be a single with 1LOVE as the b-side. ( that's why Jewel and 1LOVE are performed repeatedly last year? )
