Someone plz stop those "Ayufans"!
Firstly, sorry for my bad english.
I post a thread here because I saw some so called "Ayufans" trying to make a fake T-Shirt which exactly same as the CDL 07-08. http://img-shop.mu-mo.net/images/5/A...5_t_01_200.jpg It's not fair for the fans who bought the original one. And what they are doing is obviously no match for being an "AYUFANS". Can someone stop them? I'm ashamed for them and what them are trying to do. Here's the website http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kz=336873185 I sincerely hope that somebody can stop them and tell them what are they doing. THX |

As I know they are finding a bigger and clearer CDL logo to make that T-shirt...
Once they find it, they will make a lot of copy of that. And those replies I can tell u that, there're gonna be a lot of "ayufans" to buy it... gosh... |

Do you know how hard it is to import tour merch from Japan? It can be incredibly difficult so there just making there own because they like the design.
Does it mean there not a fan because they cant buy what they want so have to settle for 2nd best? No. Some bands even encourage there fans to make there own shirts to promote the artist and to be original. I am really getting tired of people saying that people arnt fans because they do something / wont listen to something continually / wont buy everysingle item. |

![]() Actually, many non-japanese ayu fans do a lot more than a regular fan would do. I mean, they have to import stuff in order to enjoy ayu products. |

I think making a tee out of ayu's logo or picture is perfectly fine. There are ayu logos necklaces everywhere.
But i guess its inappropriate to sell it as the real one. I am against it either but there is nothing we can do except for not buying it. |

there really isn't a way for overseas fans to buy the tour merchandise anyways. using middle-man service doesn't count becasue even then you aren't directly able to buy the merch yourself.
if it's by fans for fans, I don't see the problem. it's not like most people would pass up on getting the original tour merchandise to get copies instead. I'm pretty sure that these make-it-yourself shirts aren't as good as the originals anyways. I'd have a problem with it if the copies are made just to make money off of ayu fans, that's essentially selling pirated goods. IMO making a copy of a tour t-shirt is the same as listening to mp3s if you don't have the means to order a real cd. we all know mp3s aren't nearly as nice as the real deal so those with the means would rather have the real original products ... |

If they sell at a no profit cost I dont think it matters since the official is already out of stock. And instead of letting evil merchants who resold the tees at a high cost, I think printing themselves to prove they're ayufans doesnt mean that much harm.

the fact that they're willing to go out and at least try to attempt to 'imitate' the goods tells me they're more of a fan really =\ I don't know how to put it...It's like... I can't afford to import it- but I re~ally want one what should I do? I know I'll make my own! besides it may end up coming better than the original. which is the case for some fanmade ayupans.

I agree with Impactbreaker and twilight, for some people outside japan is really hard to get official ayu products, so I don't see the problem...actually if I could I'd buy an original one, and a fake, the first one as a memento and the other one to wear it =8

If it's fraud as in selling it as the real thing then it's bad. But if they state that it's a copy
or bootleg and it's because of the lack of supply then I believe that it's another type of fan worship. Like spreading the Ayu fever. To me piracy is bad if it's diminishing the core sales of the artist because of fraud. Like pirates selling it as the real thing or just a little cheaper. To me as long as you know it's fake and the price corresponds to it then it's not really any lost sales to the artist. Because if it's the high price that it keeping a person from buying it then they would not be able to buy it anyway. So if they find a very cheap copy and know that it's fake but they just love the artist then to me it's forgivable. Real piracy are those that sell themselves as the real thing and cut into the real sales of the artist. (if people can't afford it then they can't buy it anyway.)

i really dont see anything wrong with them selling a fake t-shirt. im sure a great deal of us has boughten a fake cd. thats just the same thing.
and like everyone said, the real merch are sold out and hard to get. if you arent buying it, i dont see how it could be offending you. And id say this is a good thing by "ayufans". not that i know a difference between a normal ayumi fan and a "ayufan". |

I don't think it's bad if they are making them for their own personal use, but selling them, isn't that illegeal? Anyhow, I would guess that if you really want something done about it, then get a hold of Avex or the Team Message people and let them know about the website yourself. I really don't know if they would do anything, but it's a suggestion.

As long as they don't claim it's the real thing, but say it's fanmade, I think it's ok. It's a nice way to show you're a fan. If you buy it through ebay or a middle man service, it can get ridiculously expensive. No way would I ever pay 80 dollars for a t-shirt!

haha I don't see whats wrong with it, if they don't claim it as the original and sell it at high prices to make profit from others, then I find it basically fine. Theres no more stock of the original, the shirts looks cool, there are a lot of ayu fans. And why not spread the ayu fever while we're at it. There's nothing very wrong. They're most likely doing it as fans for fans, its not as if they gain much merit from going through all this trouble ,its probably just a idea they came up with. haha I love the shirt I'd probably get one if it was sold here, since obviously I'm not going to Japan anytime soon, I still have to finish high school before I do that...

Ha, if it says fanmade then who cares. if it's exactly the same as the original one and mentioned only sell in cdl 07-08 then....

haha I'd so buy the original for like safe keeping a displaying, but if I ever bought the fanmade..I can actually wear it out and do anything to it, and it wouldn't really matter.
