Ayu's most touching lyrics ★
Has a thread like this ever been posted before? I'd like to start it (again)... that's ok, right? Maybe it'll be interesting...
I guess everyone agrees that Miss Ayumi is a great songwriter, so I'd like to discuss here about your fav lyrics and most touching lines from them. Say why do you like that lyric, a specific line or so, if you wanna post it, just don't post the whole lyric (or use the spoiler). As much as i can remember, I really liked Angel's Song lyric XDD Escaping into nights, I told myself That I was not at all alone But after all, it revealed Nothing but my loneliness day by day On my way home from the bustle of the city Though it was no different from any other day I thought I would repeat such pattern of life And tears welled up suddenly Somehow, I found myself in it, and it became at the moment my fav Ayu's lyric, despite the song is so happy. Of course, ASFXX. It's sad, kinda depressing, and i liked it. The sun will be rising soon, I've gotta go I can't stay forever in the same place Endless Sorrow has a beautiful lyric...really touching. If you were all alone And found yourself unable to see If, even then, you still Would try to move forward monochrome is my fav Ayu's song, and i like its lyric, nothing really special but still nice. What I wanted to be Was me being with you What I wanted to have Was your heartily smiling face RAINBOW reminds me of my life, i guess that's the reason why i like it so much. I was forgiven by forgiving many things Including my childhood so long ago I was healed, though I intended to heal I've just noticed, in the way That I was saved by love Though I tried to keep love away winding road - the first time i read it, i really was speechless XD Somehow it makes me cry. The footprints I left behind Are distorted and muddy But I don't regret them at all I'm proud of them from the bottom of my heart Yes, this is the road I chose That's all for now

Wow... basically a lot of her songs have touching lyrics... but I guess I could categorize them!

I loved just about all of ASFXX, but one part I thought was particularly good:
You will someday be betrayed by your trust in people I thought it was the same as being rejected I just really like it, very good philosophy I'd say. I really love teddy bear so much, lyrics wise it's the whole song set up that gets me. Waiting exitedly for the present then: Next to my pillow there was a big teddy bear Instead of you And ofcourse (I'm cutting this down A LOT): Memorial Address Endless Sorrow ever free fated M Hapy Ending - Not too keen on the song tbh, but I love the lyrics, especially the last part These I don't find particularly touching, just great: I am... SEASONS Pride My Name's WOMEN To name a few ^_^

there are way too many...and for me, what I think are her most touching lyrics at a particular time depends on how I am feeling at that time...
a while ago, it was walking proud. right now...it would be something like rainbow, or jewel. Her most touching lyrics aren't always sad either. But ASFXX ALWAYS gets me. It's just gorgeous.
