no album release in january 09?

Plus, she doesn't always release in January. Secret, for example, was November iirc.

Lol we shouldn't take it for granted with these kinds of things. There's really no set schedule or standard for how an album could/should be released. As of now she's only got Mirrorcle World and Days/GREEN, the former which might not even be included since it was already on A COMPLETE. It all depends on the theme of the album I guess, whether it'll fit etc. Right now it's up in the air though...I can say with confidence there will definitely be an album release this year, just not when exactly. Most likely after March, when Rule has been shown.

A COMPLETE had Mirrorcle World, yes, but A BEST had M on it and it still ended up on "I am..." later on, so. Mirrorcle World being on A COMPLETE means absolutely nothing.

She's only had 2 single releases this year, but that's four songs - that's as many as were released before "Duty", and she made that album ("ever free" wasn't on the album, and "Mirrorcle World" still might not be on the next album due to the nature of the track). SURREAL came out the same day so I'm not counting it as a pre-album single.

But I think we can expect Ayu to work on an album as soon as she has time to. My guess is that Sparkle & RULE will be the next single, probably in March, and then we'll get an album in the summer.

But yeah, an album is just not something Ayu's been able to work on yet (understandably). When she can work on it, she'll let us know.

That said, it was WEIRD to have no Ayu album for the holidays o_____o

I think ayu could actually have an album in the works now. She could release it around Feb/March and then still release one around Dec/Jan time

Well, the album could include GREEN, Days, maybe MW, )not Life, since it's supposed to be just a b-side), but what about Rule & Sparkle? I guess she may release of of those as a single in march/april/may and release the album in mid-summer or wait, take a break, and release yet another single, and have the album by late-2009

Well, some b-sides are included on the following albums but not all of them... I don't know why, but anyway, I like Life, so it wouldn't be bad to include it

"ever free", "Two of Us", and "theme of a-nation '03" are the only b-sides that weren't included on an album... since then, they've all been included (I'm not counting things like "teens" that were included on non-Ayumi Hamasaki albums). I'd say she's more likely to continue the more recent pattern.

If "Life" doesn't end up on the album, I'll eat my hat.

The only b-sides without PVs to be included on albums are FRIEND and Will so I guess there is a chance but you never know with ayu

Sounds like enough for an album, I'm expecting Ayumi to release one near the end of this year at least. She has enough songs, she just needs to start making new ones, but it'll most likely have 5 interludes c: harhar

You'd think it'd be weird, but Will and Life are a lot alike in terms of promotion for them and what not, so it's possible.

I just get a feeling Mirrorcle World won't appear on the album considering it TECHNICALLY appeared on GUILTY.

January isn't likely at this point and hard to tell about feb,march, etc but I don't care. Atleast she ain't rushing it. Its bound to be a really good album.

Mmm this is actually another reason that it might possibly not make it onto her new album. I'm not saying there's no chance it will make it on the album, just that there is a possibility. Not only was it included on A COMPLETE, but it kind of already was on GUILTY. They could easily make it a first press bonus track and put it on. I'm just interested as to the theme of her new album first. That should clear some things up; whether MW would fit into the album or not etc.

I glad that an Ayu album didn't occur this year. I can live off Mirrorcle World and GREEN for a little bit longer (that and other releases will help sustain me). I do hope MW makes it on the new album and Life will be forgotten about though I won't be surprised if MW doesn't make it.
