What would you be like without ayu?

What do you think you'd be like if you hadn't discovered ayu? I know that before I discovered her, my life was a mess. My mom & sister had passed away on my birthday and of course I was more than depressed. I was left with my dad and well, he wasn't really the nicest person ever. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to fully recover from what he did to me. But anyway, listening to her music and lyrics helped me so much during that time. I think that without that, I wouldn't be able to be here today, or I'd be a pretty sad and messed up person. Listening to her music makes me happy and feel more positive in my life and able to accomplish more things. Without some of her songs I would not have the courage to do things that have helped better my life.

So, what would YOU be like without ayu?

i'd be a totally different person if it weren't for ayu. she's always been there for me and helped me through a lot.

Maybe you would have known of my crush, but there was a period last year when I didn't see him for a long time, and kind of acknowledged the fact he really hates me... and it was honestly just a depressing period.

Then the PV for Days leaked and I downloaded it. That night, I really cried a lot while watching the PV. Because every second of the video just kinda screams out my story and it holds even more true and certain now. Sometimes I feel like Ayu knows of a fan like me and made the PV for me.

In any case, the lyrics came on later, and from then, I just... kind of learned how to love without being selfish... and just like that, my relationship with him improved A LOT, and we are like friends now~

Days is really special. Though I started from the Secret era... I've never been able to relate to any song more strongly than Days, with fated being second...

Many say A Song For xx is the first song they can relate to, for me, it's Days.

^^ Something like this happened to me with Days, I don't like the song much but when I first saw the video I sat and cried so hard - the love of my life had told me that they didn't love me as much as they did. I guess that's maybe why I dislike the song. =/

Without Ayu I wouldn't listen to as much as I do, or such a variety! I guess her songs express how I feel at times, like the time I felt very momentum etc... but I don't relate to that song now, because it's how I felt then, and even though I remember those feelings...it's hard to explain (but there is probably Ayu lyrics for it! XD)

Like right now, I'm really attached to her "I can do anything" sort of songs.

Without her songs I'd probably have a different attitude right now, although I do have something/somewhere to aim for right now, the prize to myself at the end is going to see Ayu, so now she's like a goal, to say. So although my life wouldn't be very different, it would be...in a way.

Uh, in short, she's not changed my life but added more to my life. Yeah!

That was kinda rambly. XD

Im an avid fan of that Anime.

And my talent in writing music will not be good as before.
Ayu's lyrics is really good to read.

Lastly, I'll never appreciate how good is the Jpop in general.

I always feel like I can relate to Ayu's lyrics but they're never really "life changing" for me... more like, "Oh wow she's speaking what I'm feeling." I've never had a connection like that with a music artist

So I think without her, I'd miss out on that connection and appreciate for a genuine artist, no, a genuine person

I agree with jbrat xD I would have so much more money right now. Nonetheless I would be unaffected, I like other singers. Ayu is just another singer in my collection of favorite singers~ But Ayu does provide catchy music and some of the best lyrics ever xD

you might want to see a counselor to help you with your problems.. sounds like you got a lot of issues going on.

without ayumi i probably wouldn't know much about j-pop.. she is one of the main reasons i gave jpop a try! even if i didnt like her music much at first
