I would have gone with CDJapan if I was buying a copy, to be in with a chance to win a t-shirt or the other merchandise.

We have a special j-store here where I got the "Rainbow" album for 35 Euro (reasonable price, in my opinion). However, they usually only stock one or two copies of stuff, so it's unlikely to get what you want when you are there. lol

I kinda wish there was someplace cheaper to buy this stuff, I don't usually buy CDs which are this expensive, but my YesAsia bill came to £55. That isnt including whatever import charges may incur

I'm guessing your UK (as you put that first). I am and I only ever have to pay whatever yesasia charge in the final bill. And yes, for Ayu's A BEST's 2 they were quite expensive, but your not paying much if any more than you would in Japan. Is it the first time you've ordered J-pop? You'll notice that it starts getting cheaper. No more than £6-8 for CD/DVD singles and rarely no more than 20 for CD/DVD albums, which isn't too ridiculous from a UK perspective. If you wait for oversea's versions it's even cheaper than you'd pay for a UK album.
