If we go by A BEST 2's track (2 week total = 81% of total sales) GUILTY's sales would be around 530k.

And let's not forget that kobukuro are a Mr.Childrenized boyand which makes it even harder almost to any female artist to sell more... at this point I even think it will end up selling more than kumi's Kingdom (and maybe even Black Cherry) so ayu had a really great fight in any way.
avex were stupid though releasing it on 01.01...

Well, GUILTY's sales doesn't seem bad, not kobukuro's and EXILE too (though they are boy bands) so yeah it might be a nice year.

i have to say, i was expecting lower sales. well done, Ayu!

if she had to get the #2, i'm glad she lost to Kobukuro & not some sub-par act. 5296 is a really solid album, imo.

IF album sells more than 500k, it's GREAT , as the drop isn't huge, like poor BoA's was, and Otsuka's as well.

Exactually, it's still good she can sell more than half a million and her sales don't drop to 200,000-400,000.

I'm surprised ppl here are taking it pretty well with the #2. Thats good. Great sales...more than alot of ppl predicted based on the single sales...so thats good!
