She's a 25 year old half Irish half Japanese singer-song writer, guitar player and pianist. She's best known for her acoustic cover of Rihanna's Umbrella which attracted attention on YouTube in 2007. The song was subsequently played on the radio station STAR 98.7, was featured on the third season opening episode of the MTV show The Hills, and peaked at #10 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.

Marie's first official single, "Say It Again", was released to radio stations on January 18, 2008. Her debut album, Unfold, was released on April 8, 2008.

Marié Digby is recognized on YouTube for her cover and original performances. Her covers include Linkin Park, Rihanna, Maroon 5, Ayumi Hamasaki, Nelly Furtado, etc. She has over 100,000 subscribers and her channel has been viewed over 2.7 million times. She also held a Autographed Guitar Giveaway Contest on YouTube. Contestants were asked to create an original video including her hit single "Say it Again" in any way. She once recorded a video of hers in the bathroom because "The bathroom has the best acoustics in the house".

i kinda like her! her acoustic version of umbrella is pretty good! and lately she cover ayu's heaven! and that make me love her more. i wonder if she can speak japanese very well?

^ I think she can speak Japanese well because she recently visited her grandmother in Japan for a while. I may be mistaken though. I love her song "Say It Again." <3

I have her CD, and I also sent it to my friend Ayano in Japan. It was funny, because 3 months after I mailed it to her, the CD was released in Japan, and she's such a big fan now that she's seen her live 3 times
Marie has a nice voice, and she seems like such a nice person, from watching her youtube videos.
