I once aked for some help with ayu remixes and now I've got a similar request
.. I've always enjoyed the HAL's progress versions of appears and M on A BALLADS, and more recently found a version of HANABI ~episode II~, and as I've liked all these three tracks I was wondering... Which other ayu songs have also got a HAL's progress versions? I know there used to be lots of tracks on singles, so if it was also possible to tell where I could find these tracks, I'd be much grateful

The Daybreak one is a wonderful mix, in my opinion, I actually like it better than the original mix on "I am...". Though I can't say I remember HAL's other mixes all that well, I can remember that I listened to most of them and found them not amazing, but not horrible either. Though that's a matter of opinion, of course.

I just realized that Terminal is her first (physical) single since Carols to not have a new song on it besides the A-side. Every single release has been a Double A side, or have a b-side, or a cover song or something. This is just the song, and two remixes.

What's even more interesting is it was released October 1st, 2014, and Carols was released September 29th, 2004. It was released almost exactly 10 years to the day later.

^ September 29th? Holy shit. I don't get Japan sometimes. Why do they release winter ballads a week out of summer, and summer singles a week before summer ends?

Yeah CAROLS was super early. I remember the TV performances had leaves. Or at least one did.

But 2004 gave us two amazing ballad singles. My two loves! Moments and CAROLS. :-)

I still wish we'd be able to see the video how it was originally planned, with the swing.

I finally listened to Gloria and Petal for the first time. I'm trying to get caught up with the songs from LOVE again.

Petal was so beautiful and epic!! Am I the only one who thinks it's awesome?!

(I'm now listening to Bye-Bye Darling and I like it a lot more than I thought I would...next on my list is Untitled for Her...Story 2)

petal is her cheapest sounding song to date. For me, it is just terrible. It is like a reject version of Marionette. The arrangement is seriously so unfortunate.

Is it kinda trend today for musicians to add some voice memo in their album? Tell about how some song was made? I think Ayu can try that, in English of course since its gonna be useless if its in her native language.

We have those looong interviews though for some of the early albums. Didn't Love Again have something similar? I like that track by track look.
