the clip is so shocking... i salute ayu that she dares to be different, to change her image to be dark in this video. the video itself has got a deep meaning about the reality of entertainment world. the song is nice 2... very rockish... ^^

I absolutely LOVE the PV! It's such a great and excellent PV! I think once more, Ayu has outdone herself again with this new DARK image that she's going for! Haha, the white Ayu is truly disturbing and I really like the song a lot as well, it's super nice!

The cute Ayu is really nice too! Haha, she's so cute initially when she receives the letter! Wow, I don't know what to say, the dark clowns look really scary too! It's just contemporary new age Gothic! I don't know what to say, except that the whole new alterna image seriously packs a punch!

I love the PV! Haha, can't wait for fairyland's PV! And looks like fairyland's PV will have a dance! Oh yar, now alterna PV ranks as like one of my top PVs already! Because of the very fact that it's truly "new" material and a very very new and great concept by the directors!

Ayumi continues to blow me away with her diversity. The fact that she can put out two songs (Fairyland and Alterna) that are so different, but are both brilliant is so freaking cool. She is the ultimate!

The Alterna video is disturbing but very effective IMO, and I love the song. Go go Ayu!

The PV = . . .Well, I was just kinda staring going "IS THIS STILL AYU?!" throughout the whole thing. Very interesting PV, though. If it has a certain meaning, I'm shooting for how she views her life as a singer.

One comment: People who are scared of clowns should be banned from watching this video.

Ayu is originally a beautiful doll, she can move and do whaterver she wants.
One day, she receives a letter reading ' Congratulations! You are the STARS"
It makes her really happy. She takes the letter and go to the city. Notice (a girl goes to the city) at the bottom. Ayu signed the contract with the manager and became the best singing machine as published by the newspaper. She was copied in the factory. But, she is no longer the ayu she used to be. She was cut into pieces and later got abandoned as garbage. Her fans don;t feel sad for her anymore but look for other idols


See, ayu is really mature that she knows what she may become someday.
She is really the big star!

frankly speaking, alterna is kinda a "WEIRD, SICK, RIDICULOUS' PV I ever seen.
And on the other hand, i don't think it suits the title alterna....
The whole pv is quite misleading and I don't seemed to understand what's going on with it.
Some of the scenes I think parental guidance is needed, especially at the end part, where ayu is been CUTTED or CHOPped into pieces of corpses..... that's sick.... What's going on... I hope FAIRYlaND will not be something like this , shocking , hideous....

i am looking forward to the new single <<HeaVEN>> i heard the full version in JApan radio and it was GOrGEOUS, MAGNIFICIENT and ENDEARING , i love this song and the movie, it will be showing in fall~

Should've guessed it was Ayu. Anyways, as the PV progressed I got a feel that ayu really has a grim vision of her future.. I mean, discarded in the garbage? :\ I really hope she's not all >] and secretly evil~ :3 She can be a little evil, but still be cute :33

I love this PV's strong messages and the song just intensifies them~ :3

exactly. this is how i see it too.

its similar concept to "real me", but i believe it much better. Very finely crafted.

no random dancing
its much more artistic, presented thru the play of french cabaret
Visually its much more staggering

The PV is awesome. The song is amazing.

The PV for "alterna" is shocking, crazy, weird, sick, disturbing, different, even scary. But I think it's her most powerful, symbolic PV ever. I think that this PV reveals a new side of Ayu nobody have ever seen. We are used to her cutesy image. The darkess we've seen was from the "ourselves" PV. But "alterna" is 10000 times darker. Not only dark, but she's really letting her feeling out. The whole concept of the PV is amazing. I love the theme as a play. Very artisy, very original. Creative.

This PV, to me, is about herself. She first became this "star" and dying to be popular, and a singer. She soon became this singing machine because nobody took her seriously. The company tried to replace her with the copy factory. Then soon dumped her. Basically, this is kinda her story in some level.

just one thing that scared me though...the ayu singing machine. when it first came up i thought she was naked. then i noticed the attached arms o__o.

This PV just blew me away! It's excellent, artistic, different, suprising, and fun. Just what I needed. Some people think this PV is too scary, but I don't get it, this is nothing in terms of scaryness (if you can handle clownes that is!)..these kind of PVs need to be created more often.

at first glance, i thought the white girl was madonna... she'd really look like madonna in this clip... ayu's no longer cute innocent girl now... she's started to act rebellious like what madonna has done years ago... imo... ^^
