her concerts are definitely repetetive...thats not to say i don't enjoy then...but i REALLY wish she'd mix it up a bit! i would love to see her drop soem of those songs she sings all the time and replace them. AND even more i would love to see her perform more alternate versions of songs, remixes, or different arrangements or something.

Well I suppose the songs she sings most are the ones which are popular most and the one which she enjoys singing most. I don't mind anyhow since usually I enjoy the visuals and the concepts.

Well, this year's CDL had some old songs she normally doesn't sing (Love~Destiny~, Because of You, Endless Sorrow, Theme-of-nations-03). I think the part of old songs, especially since Ayu has been in the Music Industry for pretty long time, are people's favourites. During those songs, the audience participate and interact with Ayu.

It does become quite boring.

I wish she did a "ARENA TOUR 200X ~REdiscover~" tour. Where she would sing the songs she never or rarely sing such as kanariya, Two of us, ever free, monochrome, criminal, And then, Hana...

yes i think it's kind of repetitive. i think this is cos the lack of ayu's good upbeat songs. u can see that always the upbeat song (or some kind like that) that is always be used in her concert e.g evolution, Boys & girls

Unfortunately I have a feeling that they will ALL be sung, since these are the crowd favourites and are great in creating that crazy atmosphere that's a trademark of her concerts.

But I guess what really matters would be track listings(?). The order in which the songs will be sung, you know? Anyway, I thought that what made Arena Tour 2005 so fabulous was that they were arranged in such a way that really brought the crowd's mood up and down, and then ending with Boys & Girls (discounting the encores) to give a some sort of "happy ending" effect. I actually remember being moved to tears at the end!

So although her concerts may be repetitive to some extent, there's no doubt that they're still high quality and very worthy of watching.

well its true, but I think its nice I like listening the songs in each concert sometimes different than usual
also take example of Gackt, he always sings U+K and Mirror in his concerts, those are songs that should be in or people just love and with Ayu would be the same

offtopic
sorry if I metioned Gackt, but right now I love him much more than before n_n, but it was just an example

^ Probably because she has to choose from her other gazillion songs as well? There are bound to be some songs that somebody thinks has been underperformed. Plus, there are so many fan favourite songs as well!

about the Trauma overusage issue, look at the tracklists of all of her concerts.....what do yu see? TRAUMA ON EVERY TRACKLIST *with the exception of a few* and CONCERT TOUR 2000 had it TWO TIMES!!! and STADIUM TOUR 2002 had it twice too! its too overplayed......oh and also, i dont see why everyone is saying that they wished she would perform criminal, alterna etc......they are new and havent had a good chance to get sang yet...so lets just wait til the tracklist of ARENA TOUR 2006
